Animal Kingdom in the Evenings

Anyone have recent experience to report on at Animal Kingdom in the evenings (say after 4 p.m. or so)? Thinking about visiting the evening of Saturday Nov. 4 (which is a morning EMH day at AK) to try and ride Everest, Safari, and perhaps Kali. We won't have FP and have no interest in waiting in super long lines (anything more than 20-25 minutes is "super long" to me). Other option is to rope drop the park Sunday morning and attempt the same rides.

I've been going in the evenings any time it's been open during them. I haven't done the safari in full dark because I've read all the do is set up lights and it's hard to see the animals, I have been at dusk and it's pretty cool. EE is neat at night, you see all the lights in the park and it just feels different. With everyone at Pandora the wait has never been longer than 20 min. for me. I don't ride Kali so can't help you there.

AK in the evening is a ton of fun, they have an awesome family friendly street party vibe going. Crowds, except for Pandora, start to thin out pretty quickly.

Why wouldn't you have FP+? If you used them in another park, then just get them one a time, starting the second you tap in for your 3rd FP+ in the other park. Outside of Pandora, everything else in there is easy to get a same day FP+ for.

Thanks. Good point about FP. I should have said that I’ll have FP to the extent available that evening - we’ve got DHS FPs scheduled that morning.

You probably won't even need FP+ for Kali or Safari...they're often straight walk on rides late in the day/evening. EE is easy to FP
