Animal Kingdom Founding Member?

Hello - what exactly is considered a founding member for Animal Kingdom Villas? We bought 150 points for AKV over two years ago - I thought that we were buying into Kidani Village, but it was actually Jambo House. The details were a bit sketchy.

I just watched some great videos of AKV Kidani Village and pool by Jeff Lange on youtube. I saw the robes in the library of the founding members, and I have seen that some have the logo attached to their signatures.

I'm trying to remember the details. If I remember correctly you had to buy during the month of February, was it 2007? At first they were only going to accept 150? as Founders, then they changed their mind and extended it to everybody who bought in February. There was also a minimum purchase requirement.

As a founding member, you should have received your founding gift, we received ours a few months ago (there is another post with pics of the necklace, framed with your name on a nameplate). They are also supposed to have the founding member's names on a tapestry. Haven't heard what exactly it looks like, but it is supposed to be in Kadani Village, and yes it was originally supposed to be for the first 150 families, but (according to this site) due to a misprint, it was offered for the first month (February 2007).
