We are going to Disney in March and staying at AK on the concierge level. Looking for any tips on how to get the best out of the concierge?

:wizard:

Well we used it for breakfast every morning and a glass of wine while we were getting ready for dinner. The best benefit is the ability to book the sunrise safari (We did this as an anniversary treat). Don in IPO set up all our reservations and even sent an anniversary cake (15th) to our room and a few little gifts over the trip. It was truely magical. The snacks during the day time hit the spot and since we had our 18month old in tow we came back to the lounge frequently during the day. I must say that was probably my favorite trip to disney and we have taken over 20 trips. I never did figure out how they knew it was our 15th anniversary but I am assuming that since we take that same week every year and it is always over our anniversary they had it on file. The little buttons were the coolest everyone kept wishing us a happy anniversay all day and we had a special dessert sent to us for free at dinner that night.

Dont miss the latte machine it was addictive. LOL. My son still plays with the little stuffed tiger they gave him. Can you tell we love it there!!!

They will help with making your ADR's as well. They have always gotten everything I have asked for. I know it isn't gaurunteed but they have never let us down. :worship: The breakfast offerings are pastries, bagels, cereals ect. THere are cookies, and other dry goods in the afternoon, even pb&j for the kids. The evening offers up some more authentic options. I loved the olives. And there are always beverages available. We always stay AKL CL at least part of the stay for our one big Disney trip every year. We LOVE IT.

Spectacular service . . . during the evening snack, my little boy likes ketchup with the chicken nugget offering they had. We didn't see any, but asked and they provided it promptly.

For the next 7 nights, everytime we came, they brought ketchup to the table.

A very nice little touch.

So to answer your question, politely ask for what you would like.

We will be enjoying it for the first time March 1-8th and can't wait
Don is currently helping me set up the diving tour and even managed to rearrange my dining reservations to accomodate this change

Don's almost a superhero, but not quite: Didn't book until mid January for our 2/23-3/2 vacation, yet he has so far pulled off everything I asked for except for Le Cellier on Friday night.
