animal kingdom character meeting

Hi there, just wondering to anyone who has recently visited the Animal Kingdom.. we went the Sunday after Easter 2003 and had a great time visiting Pooh and Friends right before you enter Dinoland. I was wondering if they still do this there? I haven't seen it mentioned in any of the travel guides, but we loved it. THANKS!

Yep, they are still there! I visited Pooh, Tigger, and Eeyore there in April 2004. I think the location is called the Discovery Boat Landing or something like that. Not sure about Piglet, though, since it's been awhile since we saw him greeting there. If you hit that spot just right, you can have some fun interaction with the characters, since this location seems to have some quieter moments.

And I saw them in that same spot in late May, 2004. Stitch was right by the entrance to Camp Minnie Mickey in Discovery Island, and Flik was on the right about 1/2 way between Pizzafari and the entrance to Africa. And several characters hanging around the entrance to AK.
