We'll be there this Saturday, and I was wondering what dining suggestion you might have? Something easy, good, not outrageously priced.
Thanks in Advance!

i suggest the Yak and Yeti quick service counter in Asia..its delicous and very well priced. We had the Sweet and Sour pork...Crispy honey chicken..all is served in a lg take out container over rice...HUGE portions..share them cause you will waste some unless you are starved!! Hope this helps! :)

We like the Flaming tree bbq. The portions are large. The adult meals come with beans and corn on the cob. The kids love that part.

Never stayed there late enough to eat dinner.

We are going to try Yak and Yeti in April. :)

Thank you both for the suggestions. I couldn't remember any restaraunts from our last visit there. Since the park closes so early we might not do dinner there, but I thought I would check if there was something I was missing.

We loved the Tusker House buffet. We had a 2 p.m. lunch and really didn't need dinner. It is a mix of unusual and American foods. If you're a little bit adventurous, you'll love it. It was the best food we had on our recent trip.

Flame Tree serves a corn muffin instead of corn-on-the-cob now. I thought both the muffin and the baked beans were a bit sweet. We've had one bad meal and one okay-for-counter-service meal there. My son, who is basically a meat and potatoes man, loves it, though.

Flame Tree used to be our favorite but we just returned a few days ago and loved the Yak & Yeti counter service. We'll be eating there again on our next trip.

I have never had dinner there, but last year we were there two days, so had lunch each day (We LOVE this park)...anyway, we ate at Flame Tree BBQ and Pizzafari. I was not a huge fan of Pizzafari, and I don't think DH was either. It was okay for him, standard WDW pizza that he ate around 4 days of our 6 day trip! Flame Tree, on the other hand, was absolutely wonderful! I had the rib plate and DH had the chicken plate. We had so much food, and it was all yummy! If you walk far enough down you can get a seat right on Discovery River too, which makes for a pretty and relaxing lunch setting. Have fun!

Flaming Tree sounds pretty popular, we might have to give it a try. Thanks everyone!

We also love Tusker House & Flame Tree. Any opinions on Pizzafari?
We were going to try that next time.

This will probably crack everyone up, but when we were at WDW last February, I was having problems with motion sickness on the rides (1st time that ever happened; it sucked big time). Anyway, we were on DDP and hopping to all the "best" places to eat per the disboards. At Animal Kingdom, I was really not feeling good but my DH and girls, ages 14 and 12, were hungry. We wandered into, of all places, Restaurantosaurus, a glorified McDonald's. Well, my daughters, who had dined all week as "adults" on the DDP smelled those McDonald's fries and thought they had died and gone to heaven. They had their nuggets, DH and I had burgers (there's a pretty nice condiment bar), we all had fries, and I had a GIANT coke to settle my stomach (I don't usually drink non-diet soda; man was it good!). It was a ton of pretty tasty food, and I felt so good afterwards; the constant nausea was just gone. And while we were on DDP, the OPP prices were quite low. Now, as we plan our June trip, this is the one restaurant the whole family wants to go back to. Isn't that hilarious? I guess it's the small things you remember…

That doesn't sound to strange to me, considering on our honeymoon to Italy, my husband and I visited McD's in Rome & Venice. They didn't really eat breakfast in Venice, it seemed like they woke up late. So, we just munched on McD's.
