This will probably crack everyone up, but when we were at WDW last February, I was having problems with motion sickness on the rides (1st time that ever happened; it sucked big time). Anyway, we were on
DDP and hopping to all the "best" places to eat per the disboards. At Animal Kingdom, I was really not feeling good but my DH and girls, ages 14 and 12, were hungry. We wandered into, of all places, Restaurantosaurus, a glorified McDonald's. Well, my daughters, who had dined all week as "adults" on the DDP smelled those McDonald's fries and thought they had died and gone to heaven. They had their nuggets, DH and I had burgers (there's a pretty nice condiment bar), we all had fries, and I had a GIANT coke to settle my stomach (I don't usually drink non-diet soda; man was it good!). It was a ton of pretty tasty food, and I felt so good afterwards; the constant nausea was just gone. And while we were on DDP, the OPP prices were quite low. Now, as we plan our June trip, this is the
one restaurant the whole family wants to go back to. Isn't that hilarious? I guess it's the small things you remember
