Animal Kingdom and Moonlight Magic Crowds

As luck would have it, my day at AK is also a DVC Moonlight Magic night. I understand they can enter AK at 7:00 pm prior to their 9:30 pm private event. Does anyone know how many people this is? I am fortunate to have my FoP FP+ for the afternoon, but had hoped to just walk around Pandora at night time and possibly do one of the rides on standby. Now, I am fearing it will be quite chaotic before the 9:00 pm park closing.

I dont know exactly how many DVC will be at the event. We will be attending. And we attended the DVC event at MK back in March. It seems like it was reported that there were 1500 spots for the party. Your AK day may be busy because some of us- like me- have an annual pass and can enter anytime. We are planning on arriving about 4pm and have FOP FP for 7pm. There are no FP for the DVC event and I am guessing that the safari will be closed just like it was for EMH after park closing so people will be wanting to get that one in also.

We did the AK event last year and it was empty inside (but perhaps the heavy rain had something to do with that). We are doing the event this year as well, on September 13. I would imagine that Pandora will be crowded for the time between when they let the DVC folks in at 7 and when the park closes to day guests. We plan to check Pandora out when we arrive and waste those 2 hours before the event at Pandora and then spend the rest of the night in the rest of the park.
