Hi! Assuming a 9:00 opening (arriving at the gates at 8:00) 3rd week in August...
Can we ride FoP, Na’vi and Safari (in that order) in time to make a 10:45 Tusker House reservation? (no FP for any of the rides)

Thanks!

I would wait on the Safari. It is possible to get stuck on it if a giraffe decides to hang around on the road or something. It is unpredictable, plus the line will have built by the time you are off FOP. The last time I did FOR at Rope Drop they did not let us in early like they used to and I wasn't out until about 9:45. At that point he Safari Line would have been quite long (and possibly NRJ too).

ok. I just looked at last August's park hours and they had 8:00 EMH on Saturdays (which is the day we will be going) so, IF there is EMH and we get there by 7:30 is it now doable? Does that extra EMH give us enough more time? I still don't like the idea of standing in too long of a line for the Safari, but I'm not sure when else to squeeze it in.

Thanks

If your breakfast is at 10:45 then I do think that is doable. Start with FOP - get through that as soon as possible, then hit NRJ. There may be a line for Safari by then but you still have almost 2 hours most likely. While it is possible for the Safari to get stuck due to the above reasons, it isn't too likely. Be prepared to wait, but if you have nothing else planned, then it is what it is - you'd be waiting anyway. I think yo would make Tusker (but be at AK early to be near the front of the FOP pack).

You MAY be able to but only if you're at/near the front of the pack at the tapstiles (be there at least an hour earlier than the EMH open). FOP's wait time builds REALLY fast even during that EMH. If you're close enough to the front of the line then FOP for a half hour wait is possible and NRJ will still likely be really short. Then head over to Safari. It may still be pushing it because Safari's wait time also builds really fast once it's open to everyone.

I'm going to give it a try. We will get to AK as close to 7:00 as possible (assuming 8:00 opening) and see what happens. Unless... is there a time of day when the line for Safari typically drops?

If the park is opening at 8 for EMH, you should be fine. Arrive no later than 7 at the tapstiles, not just going through security.
They will let you in earlier than 8 and hold you at the entrance to Pandora. Walk quickly as the line does build very quickly.
If you near the front fo the line, you should done by 8:15, assuming you got in early.
Navi should be walk on.
Depending, many times Safari is not open for EMH, so check that to be sure. You may have time for Dinosaur and Everest instead. Safari should be open around official park opening time.

I'd be very surprised if you could do all 3 w/ no FP . Crowds, weather, break downs (ride, not people in line...but, maybe)...lots of variables. You'll be surprised at the volume of the thundering herd all headed toward FOP. I'd choose your top 2 and hope for the best.

I think you could probably do it. Some people report rope dropping FoP and being off of it just a few minutes after the park officially opens. I mean, it'll be super tight but I think you could do it.
