Oh last I heard they were calling for up to 6in of snow. The timing doesn't work for me though, I have too much going on this week. I think I'll have to talk to Mother Nature and let her know !! She needs to postpone it until December!!

Donna, I got the time away mixed up but not the dates... we are going on the 27th. For some silly reason I got the weekend my dad was coming home and the concert day mixed up. Don't ask But we are going on the 27th. I love him for getting us the tickets but unfortunately I have to bow out.

Still no working tub. This is NOT GOOD.
I am not a happy person right now. DH just ran to Menards for more Drano or whatever. I dont know why he didnt just buy the drain snake in the first place.

Bethany, I am so sorry to hear of your loss of tub. I can imagine how sad it is for Sma to have to skip his bath! As for the other comment................Bathany, he is a man. If you check the man club rules, you will see that clogged drains require a minimum of 2 trips to a hardware store or a hardware area of a store.

The best advise I can give you is to just realize it's only a clogged drain, and he is still the love of your life and the father of that cute little boy. When the tub drains, the yuuk will be gone and you will still have him. Plumbing can be a mojor source of marital *******, don't let it get to you. (And after 28 years of marraige, I have been there too)

Bethany, so sorry about the drain! I have to admit ours gets clogged from time to time and between a snake and CRYSTAL Drano (the other crap doesn't work near as well) it works every time

Marsha is right though, I'd bet he goes out at least one more time

Back from Chicago, had a great time.....If you ever have the op. to see Tony and Tina's Wedding, and I believe it is playing in other cities besides Chicago, I highly recommend it. There is a small piece of every wedding you've ever been to in this play. What fun! I got to dance with the bride, I even sang to her (not recommending that part).
Also got to watch the St. Patricks Day parade in Chicago......saw them dye the river green....greener...... Seems the Pittsburgh parade had the better looking babes though.....
Got home yesterday and my computer, which I had turned off, was making some real obnoxious noises when I turned it back on...Took it apart today and cleaned all the fans and WD40'd them and now everything seems to be quietly functional again.
Just missed the bad weather here, but I heard it's headed east so good luck to you right coasters!

I went to Dick's Sporting Goods with my brother. They had a clearance sale on Comfort Bikes. Original price $300, on clearance for $169. They were Adirondack 21 speed
with Shimano parts. He ended up buying 2 of them! One for him and one for his wife. Good deal for the money!

I better warn Luis that if it is snow covered, he needs to go out and shovel before I go to work in the morning I wonder where my boots are too

better post when you get the chance, boards were down again this AM.

Dan left early this am for a flight to Chicago for a meeting. I hope he is able to get back tonight. (I told him he should pack an overnite bag just in case, but of course he didn't listen!)

We have about 1/2 inch of snow so far but it is a whiteout right now. So far no school delays or cancel. Calling for up to 6 inches!

Not sure if we'll get 4-8 or 6-12 inches...depends on where the rain/snow line ends up. Supposed to change from snow to sleet/rain and then back to snow again.

Morning Everyone,
Gotta get moving this morning before the snow arrives. Looks like we may be getting between 6-12 from this storm.......figures, the ONE day we don't want to have school cancelled, they'll probably cancel. Tomorrow night is the cub-boy scout cross over and since we meet at school, if school is cancelled, so is scouts.
On another "damn snow" tangent....we had our St. Patrick's dinner last night because of scouts, so now DH will expect corned beef again Wednesday.
Furnace is fixed...woohooo!
