I can see on the map that ART goes to the stadium. I was wondering where it drops you off. Is it a long walk from that location (more than parking in the lot)? Also what about when the game is over. Is it hard to get a seat on the ART bus and do you have to keep waiting every 20 mins until there is finally room for you?

Thanks for you help!

Unless someone knows otherwise, I think the deal is ART serves the Anaheim Amtrak station, which shares the parking lot with Anaheim Stadium, and the schedule of that route revolves around the train arrivals/departures, not the Angel games. That's my guess anyway. It's a couple hundred yards or so from the train station to the stadium entrance gates. Here's the ART schedule:

Another way to get to/from the Angels games from the DLR area is via the OCTA #50 bus. However it's not obvious where the best bus stop is, and I think even some of the bus drivers don't know about this. This map shows in the inset at the bottom that you want the Howell Street stop, and then you have to "trust the force" to enable you to find that pedestrian gate that leads under the Amtrak station.

Here's a Wikimapia view:

The westbound bus stop is next to the Shell station, which is at the corner of Katella and Howell.

The #50 line runs east-west on Katella, so if your hotel is near Katella this might be useful to you.

I didnt realize that it was a shared stop. I have the map and bought our ART tix already. I was just wondering if it were really feasable to an adult with 2 kids to go to the game is this manner. If its a big hassle then I will just drive our car but I was hoping to save the parking fees and just add to the charm of vacation by taking the local transportation.

Thank you for you response, its appreciated.
