Andreah and Brian - Dec 8th, 2009 (Reception Photos Posted)

The welcome party looks so fun! It looks like everyone had a great time!

Your In Park photos turned out great and thanks for all the tips. I'm always concerned about my arms in photos too!

Looking forward to hearing more!

i LOVE LOVE LOVE OHANA'S!!!

but i also like the grips for holding all those bags! great ideas!

Ohana was AMAZING! Definately our favorite meal of the trip!

Oh, I love your Ohana report! I'm gonna try calling now to see if I can change my group ressie to there, although like you said, it is prob booked by now!

I think your Epcot/MK photos are amazing! Honestly, I don't think your arms look bad at all, I thought in some they looked quite defined (sorry I was focused on this after reading your review).

I can't wait to read more!

Your dinner at 'Ohana looks like it was a blast! Good call on the clips to carry the welcome bags -- I love how you guys thought of everything.:goodvibes

We did O'hanas with a group the week of our wedding too and it was definitely a favorite of everyone. It is Kris' favorite restaurant and even though we didn't really do Disney on this trip, we still had to go there to eat ;) Its so great that you were able to get people together right away at the beginning of the trip. Do you have some shots of the goodies for the girls in the bags? I feel for Gavin digging out the lighted ice cubes. My cousin pulled a bunch out of the centerpieces at the end of our DP because our Disney guide told us that we could have them :rotfl:

Oh Looks like you had a great time!! We are having our rehearsal at 'Ohana before heading to our DP. We got a 5 p.m. time too...we must have gotten very lucky!!
I can't wait to see more pictures from the wedding day!

I took your advice! I booked 'Ohana's for our rehearsal dinner! It looks like so much fun!!!!

Could you tell me if dessert is included in the meal? We are going to follow the meal with our Grand 1 Wishes--and I'm looking for an excuse to get some extra cake on the yacht! But I dont want to stuff everyone if there is something at 'Ohana's!

TIA!

Hi guys! Sorry I've been out of pocket for a couple of weeks . . . I'll finish my trip report at some point, I promise! :upsidedow It's crazy-busy at work with my company's big leadership conference just four weeks away. I'll probably be in-and-out intermittently until mid-February.

Just a quick update . . . we have received MOST of our wedding photos at this point. We're just waiting on a few guests to send us theirs, and the bridal portrait DVD from Disney, which we'll order in the next month.

Our Misty photos are now up live on the SmugMug site. Click here to check them out. I haven't done vendor reviews, but I'll just go ahead and give the Miotto's a score of A+++. They were a blessing to work with, talented beyond talented, and provided an insane amount of photos for the amount of money charged. I told Misty that I'm giving her the nickname "Elasti-girl". I realize that she and Nelio were both snapping photos but, from the looks of it, they were all OVER the place

Brian has given me permission to share a link to our wedding video upon request. If you're interested in seeing the video of our wedding and reception, just send me a PM and I'll get ya' the link. It was filmed by a friend and edited by Brian.

Brian spent the weekend reading this planning journal from start to finish and now he's bugging me to see what happens next :rotfl: So I'll try to crank out a couple more posts before the end of the weekend. I hope everyone's having a great day!

Yeah, it is addictive! Not just for people living vicariously through you!

My favourite photo - out of the sneak peaks is no. 19, the two of you, almost in darkness out the front of the WP. Beautiful!

When we woke up on Sunday morning, we had a bit of a slow start. We slept a little late and ate breakfast at the hotel. We spent Sunday morning (Dec 6th) at Hollywood Studios. It was still kind of chilly after the cold snap that came through the evening before, but it started to warm up later in the morning.

Since we were off to a late start, most of the "good" rides were already posting long wait times. So we just walked around the park, enjoyed the decorations, and rode Star Tours a couple of times. It's one of Gavin's favorite rides.

Our Matron of Honor, Erin, had called us the night before to let us know she wouldn't be able to meet up with us at 'Ohana. Her kids (4 years and 6 months) were just waaaayyy too tired. But she told me that they were planning to go to Studios on Sunday morning. So, while the guys were riding Star Tours for the last time, I sat outside and called Erin to see if they had arrived.

Erin and the kids were heading into the next showing of Playhouse Disney and we had about 30 - 40 minutes to kill before we could meet up, so Brian, Gavin and I ducked into the Great Movie Ride.

After the GMR, we went over to the exit for Playhouse Disney just in time to meet up with Erin, Erin's Mom (AKA, Mom Kearney) and the kids. I asked Ainsley (Erin's 4 year old daughter) if she had a chance to meet Mickey Mouse yet and she said "no". I told her that I knew the perfect place to meet up with Mickey Mouse if she wanted to get her picture taken and get his autograph, and she was very excited to go. We went into the "Animation" building and it was so exciting to be there with Erin, Mom Kearney, Ainsley and her little brother Brendan for the first time that any of them had ever met Mickey Mouse!

After meeting our favorite pal, all of us were getting a little hungry. We had a quick service lunch at the Sunset Ranch, where Brian and I shared a basket of chicken fingers and fries. After lunch, we headed back to our respective resorts to rest and get ready for fun times at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party!!!

Your Pictures are beautiful, I just finished looking through Misty's pics and they were fantastic! Your day looked amazing!! Congrats..can't wait to read more

We had early dinner reservations at Liberty Tree Tavern (4:25 PM) and, as I expected, people seriously underestimated how long it would take to get from Point A to Point B in Disney World. I checked in with the front desk at about 4:20 to let them know that some of us were there and that we had a few more coming. They wouldn't give us our table, though, until everyone was there and accounted for. When we were short only two guests, the Liberty Tree staff were kind enough to go ahead and let us sit down.

They sat us at three tables right next to each other, and everyone proceeded to have a GREAT time!

My favorite part of the meal was when I found out that my dear sweet Grandma (who is in her 70's) rode on the Tower of Terror and loved it. Of course, I had to announce this to the group, who immediately burst into a round of applause. It was absolutely precious!

And, of course, we ate. And ate. And ate. The food was fantastic and the group just raved about how fantastic the food was. Here's a little food porn, and I can NOT take credit for this. I found it on Flickr.

Aww . . . thanks so much! Misty and Nelio are awesome photographers and Patricia did a great job with our hair and makeup. I know I sound like a broken record, but I can't recommend them enough :lovestruc

Wow! Your photos are amazing! thank you for sharing them! You were a stunning bride and you both look so happy! Congratulations on your magical (and very beautiful!) day!!!

Question . . . how long does it take to get a group of 19 people to stand still in the same place at the same time?

Answer: 80 minutes!!!!

Okay, so after dinner, my Grandma and Aunt split off to go see the Hall of Presidents and all I wanted was to get one nice group photo in front of the castle with everyone wearing their sparkle shirts and pink velour jogging suits. I might have reconsidered had I realized that it was going to be SUCH and undertaking to get a group this big to stand still in the same place at the same time :rotfl:

I have to buy some mouse ears. I need to smoke. I have to go to the bathroom. You have my ticket . . . meet me at the front gate.

These are just a few of the things that delayed our big photo opportunity. Brian's mom and dad eventually had to leave, they just couldn't hang on long enough to join us in the photo.

But, these are the photos that delayed the trip report. I just couldn't proceed without them and the PhotoPass CD's came in just about a week ago:
