I used to live in S. Ca and I always thought it was cold in the evenings. Freezing in fact. So, now that I live in cold weather will I think it is warm? Excuse my ramblings.
Basically, in Dec., should we think sweatshirts? Sweatshirts and light jackets? Our winter coats? Hats and gloves? or will just a jacket and a tshirt be fine?
This is really corny, but when we went to WDW we had yellow shirts made up to match. It helped so much with dh and I and the 5 kids. So we were thinking along the same lines of same colored sweatshirt of maybe same color light jacket.

From my experience, it is chilly in the early morning, warms up to comfortable/nice when the sun gets straight up, then starts cooling off when the sun gets low, and can be downright cold if you are sitting or standing in one place waiting for a parade or fireworks after dark. (On the other hand, it could be unseasonably warm or cold, anything is possible.)

Best bet: dress in layers and maybe stash a heavier jacket, even a hat and gloves in a locker to retrieve later on. Mufflers/scarves are also handy too, especially if someone has short hair. (How about everyone having matching bright colored mufflers? You can just cut them out, fringe and all from fleece bought at any fabric store! Hmmm... I think maybe we'll try this!):Pinkbounc :bounce: :jester:

Layers is the key!
I always take gloves with me to wear at night too. I get cold pretty easy and after the sun goes down I think it's pretty chilly. I usually take a sweat shirt (for over my reg shirt) and some sort of top layer for it too!
You can always rent a locker for you warmer stuff and that way you dont have to lug it around all day if you dont need it!

It can definitely get into the 40s at night here in December, and that is definitely heavy coat and gloves weather to me (who freezes when it gets below 60!) ;)
