And Then There are the Weirdos...

Disney takes 20% of my income.....they can have some DNA too.....Maybe they can get it off the spoon I eat my Dole Whip with. :cool2:

In my now-legendary law enforcement career, I don't remember ever running into any law that outlawed taking fingerprints. There are laws against misusing fingerprints, but I don't think taking them is illegal. If it is, a whole lot of people are going to jail.

Which is precisely how modern law enforcement agencies take and process fingerprints. The image IS a fingerprint (actually a reverse image of a fingerprint), just like an ink print on a card would be.

The measurments collected are called "minutea" and they yield a numerical value which is unique to that fingerprint. Fingerprint computers can easily compare the numbers and produce a list of possible matches. But in order for an actual identification to be made, a human fingerprint examiner must make a visible comparison.

IF Disney actually collects those images and does anything with them, my guess is they would only look for a rough numerical match in their system. Personally, I doubt if they collect or compare anything. Until I actually hear about cases where someone was busted for using someone else's admission media, I suspect the whole finger-scanning thing is just a smoke-screen.

Thank you for those precisions. Sorry I gave a wrong information.

I get a monthly report of my bone density and a full set of X-Rays from Disney, don't you? The co-pay is a bit steep but the quality is unmatched.

Me too! I have the Lady, Tramp, & Old Yeller bone density reports. Has anyone seen one with Bolt? I'm working on getting all 101 dalmatians.;)

It reminds me of the scene from Monster's Inc where they air TV interviews of monster's who saw Boo.

If you don't want to use the fingerprint you can just show them your ID. That's what we do and it's no problem. We're not scared that they have our fingerprints (Lord knows they have all kinds of info on us), we just don't like putting our finers on the scanner after thirty thousand people have.

So sad for them. My weirdest experience was after the Norway boat ride, waiting for the movie to start. A young boy, maybe age 7, asked his dad if they could stay at watch the movie. The dad said no, because it's "propaganda".

I would have reported them to security.

Seriously? On what grounds? "Security, there's some chatty conspiracy theorists roaming the property!"?

People have a right to be strange. There was no physical threat. What would you expect security to do?

To the OP, I would have put my hands over the guys mouth and said "Shhhhh! They're listening to us right now."

They should meet the woman i knew who thought the government uses vaccinations as a way of microchipping people, and your microchip is scanned anytime you walk by a soda machine.....

Disney offers dental check ups, too. But only if you add the WaterPik Fun & More option to your tickets.

Didn't you hear? The Main Street Bakery refurb includes not only Starbucks, but a Quick Care Dental Office. You can let your kids run wild thru the candy store, bakery, etc. and then get their teeth properly cleaned!! :rotfl2:

Oh and if they want to steal my identity they are welcome to it, along with all my bills. They will have fun with my Sallie Mae school loans...ROFLOL! I don't think anyone would truly want to be me...:lmao:

Nah - they're harmless. They sound frighteningly similar to my grandmother though who refused to eat anything but tea with sugar, cookies, cake and straight sugar.

I think this couple needs to rethink their diets if they're both acting that way.

I was thinking they should check the lead levels in their drinking water.

This may have actually made it worse. I can hear them now...how Disney is trying to keep them quiet from spreading the truth. No one listening/caring is probably a better move.

They must have drank the wrong Kool-aid. It was spiked by Universal.

That too.
Or, it could also be a bad mix of prescriptions. I used to work with a pharmacy and found it strange the number of couples who came in taking the exact same mix of drugs as each other.

Ah, mystery solved! Now I know who writes all those emails I get forwarded to me by other benighted souls . . . that the UN is taking over America, secret police are rounding up all the guns, flouride in the water is a communist plot . . .

You must be on the same list as my parents. LOL. And they always believe each and every one of those emails and try to warn us.

I disagree. True these people aren't posing any harm "right now". But their behavior might warrant attention. Not confrontation. Security needs to know if people are acting strange if in any case just to keep tabs on potential problems. That's all.
