I THINK I have finally decided on the Marriott Cypress Harbour for a long weekend.Now to finetune the details! Would you rather stay in a ground floor or top floor unit,and why? What building should I request for great lake views and close to a pool??About how long is the drive to EPCOT? This place looks so cool!!
Expert opinions please!! TIA !

Was there in '96. Great Pool area! Hope you get a unit with Jacuzzi in master BR. On site Pizza Hut IIRC and they have a convenience store.

Hi!

I love Marriott Cypress Harbour. I can't help you with building selection, I'd have to check at home to see which building we were in.

I also request the highest floor as we are able to watch
Sea World fireworks from our room. Although we never seem close to a pool.

My only complaint would be that on both of our visits to this resort, we have encountered racoons digging in the trash when returning to the resort in the evening. It freaks my children out, so we usually end up taking the stairs, as the trash cans are next to the elevators and this is where the racoons "hang."

Racoons!?!?! My DD would LOVE that! We had 'em every night at our old house and got to know them quite well!
Right now, the trip is only in the "dreaming" stages...gotta see what the tax refund looks like! I WILL be back!

I'm also booked at Marriott Cypress Harbour for October. 7 nights. I'll be looking forward to reading your report on the place. Friends of ours own a timeshare there and they loved it. We were supposed to be staying at the Grande Vista, but was told that they will be doing renovations on that resort. They also told me that Cypress Harbour just got renovated, so everything from sheet rock to fixtures are new. I'm anxious to see for myself.
