It's Thursday night and we are back at the campsite from Magic Kingdom! What a long day! We started out with reservations at Crystal Palace. We were the second family to check in or our reservation at 8:00am...as they started calling names of parties to seat, of course we were lost in translation. I was a bit aggravated until a young male server observed us waiting for quite some time and sat us at one of his tables . I must say my day was better from there. The crowds were not bad but three rides were shutdown temporarily and we were told our fast passes would be honored all day. Lunch was quick service nuggets and fries but we were still full from the ginormous breakfast we ate earlier. The crowds were starting to thicken by mid afternoon and by the time we headed back to the Fort they were unreal. We did take a break between 1 and 3 but still exhausted. My pics are mostly on my super camera but here are a few to show..Animal Kingdom up tomorrow!!!
One more thing to add...we ate dinner at Pinocchio's Village Haus and it was delicious. It's quick service Italian with pizza, spaghetti an meatballs, chicken Parmesan and salads for a reasonable price!! K night everyone!!

Okay let's get started!!! Headed to Animal Kingdom who opened at 8. We walked right onto the Safari ride, and all Dinoland rides. Lunch was delicious at Flamin Tree BBQ...we had te pork sandwich and onion rings and for a little hint if you order water with ice in a cup they give u a regular size cup for free. So that means no more five dollar bottle of waters for me!! Anyways after tackling the Animal Kingdom we headed back to the Fort where we visited the ponies and horses whe they receive their nightly bath...Right now I am poolside with my mug taking in all the wonderfulness of the Fort!! Below are a few pics to follow my typing!!! Stay tuned oh and the weather is amazing!!!
So today was a great Christmas Eve at Hollywood Studios! We at at Mama Melrose (had reservations) and when I tell you it was delicious YUMMY! Here ate the pics of what we ate!!
We walked right onto Toy Story and rode it twice before Rockin Rollercoaster where I definitely felt my age LOL!!! We headed back to the Fort for a break and to fill our mugs oh and FYI the Fort is sold out of all camping merchandise (ie license plates, license plate frames, etc) and they are unsure of when they are getting a new shipment! Sooooo we headed back to the Studios to the Osbourne lights which were as always phenomenal!! At the Fort tonight the Carolers came around and sang which was a nice touch to the Christmas Holiday!! Bama Ed still no price for you but I'm sure to get it soon! Merry Christmas everyone and tomorrow we enjoy Epcot!! Night all!!
Those food pictures look DELICIOUS. Too bad about the merchandise running out too. Not suprised that the Disney bean counters couldn't correlate pent up demand for Fort-specific merchandise with the extended period of a full campground over the holiday season. I mean, what, it would take someone with a slide rule (who knew how to use it no less) to figure that out.
BayouGirl - Lovin' your trip report - pics are GREAT!!! Wow, I can't believe you got to walk on Toy Story, how great was that. That pasta dish at Mama Melrose's place looks very delicious, I keep saying that we are going to eat there but it never seems to work out.
Enjoy your trip, thanks for letting us tag along.
Let's get started...Epcot for Christmas Day!!! To start, I used a non Disney Application for my phone that said the park opened at 7. Soooo we got up at 4:45 and headed to the Outpost. My first clue was we were the only ones at the bus stop so I called Disney and found out the app was wrong !! The park didn't open until 8 so we caught the boat to the Magic Kingdom monorail, monorail to the transportation station, and then the monorail to Epcot. The Transportation monorail did not start running until 7:45 so we waited a good while before departing . The good news was it was Christmas and we were all healthy and alive so life was still good! Once at Epcot I ran for Soaring fast passes then we rode Test Track which neither at more than a due minute wait. We snacked on a funnel cake and then the best part came!! Le Cellier Steakhouse!!!!!!! All I can say is WOW we have been to Disney many times an man have we missed out! The reservation line overbooked the tables and our reservation was for 3:35pm. We didn't get sat until 4:30 but it was well worth the wait. My pics are funny because I was so hungry that I forgot to take a pic until after I began to eat the Filet Mignon!!! Lol! The potato soup was also out of this world! After Epcot we headed back to the Fort as settled in for some rest bc it's now 6:30 am an we are headed back to the Kingdom for magic hours!!! Stay Tuned!!!!
Finally a bit chilly here this morning...great start at the park! Jumped right on all the big rides and sat down for a quick breakfast/snack on Main St. It was delicious!! We are about to watch the castle show so here are a few pics of breakfast! Cost was 17 bucks and not bad for the quality!!
