Alright, the time is here. We are packing up and heading to the Fort at 0300 central time from Louisiana tomorrow morning. The truck and camper are packed, and now we are trying to remember last minute things. Here is a pic of the truck to lead us on our way to the magical Fort. Oh and I'm new at this so I'm going to try and update as often as possible.

What a start to wonderful day...to begin last night while putting air in the tires I noticed one was bad. Needless to say and 200 dollars later the tire was replace and we went to sleep but due to all the excitement we couldn't. We arose at 2 am and was on the road for 3:40 am. We stopped twice at rest areas along I10 and three times for gas. 11 hours later we arrived in Ocala and ate at Cracker barrel...we are staying the night at the Ocala Sun Resort and I must say the people here are incredibly nice and the resort is beautiful (pics above). The barrel is only 2 mi right down the road from the resort an we have pull through site so I dont have to unhook...I spoke with Kenny about twenty minutes ago and he said to call him in the morning to get my cart when we arrive at the Fort...my back aches an my knees hurt so I'm going to call it a night and get a fresh jump on our favorite place in the morning FORT WILDERNESS!!! Whoo hoo!!! Night all and we look forward to keeping you with us on our adventure!!!!

I always get excited on our Disney trips when we see the palm trees. Living in Pennsylvania=no palm trees, so very cool.

Okay, we made it this morning at 0900 and I have been so busy setting up camp and taking this all in. We are in loop 1700 site 1712 and boy is it wonderful. Stand by for the pics later tonight....more to come at the end of the day!!! Stay tuned!!

So I'm back because I have a break while we dine at Rainforest Cafe in Downtown Disney...so I forgot to tell you that I got my cart from Kenny delivered to my site about ten minutes after we arrived...we then jumped right on and took a ride around the campground...we ate lunch at the poolside snack bar and I had the grilled chicken sandwich, DW had the pizza of course (pizza lover) and DD had the nachos...here are a few pics of the food and pool

Okay...now for the night time review. After dinner we headed back to the site and went to the Campfire sing a long where we ate smores before looping...I'm not much of a talker or typer and I'm using my iPhone so I believe pictures will do this part of my trip report justice...besides, pictures are always much better!! The first pictures are of our dinner at Rainfores! Delicious but a tad on the expensive side!!! Then the looping pics which were incredible!! Enjoy and we are headed to The Magic Kingdom in the morning
