Ok, so I have decided to look into finding a site to back up my photos and files, but I have two requirements that I'm trying to meet: I'd like to be able to back up RAW files and I'd like to be able to back up files NOT necessarily on my computer (cds/dvds). I see that Zenfolio doesn't back up RAW files, and actually the only thing I find that DOES back up RAW is Smugvault. So what does everyone recommend about RAW files? :confused3

I burn mine to DVD, at 18-19 meg per file and an average of 200-1500 pics per shoot it would take forever for me to upload to a website..

So does anyone else have any suggestions??? :confused3

I use carbonite, but it doesn't let you back up removable storage (eg DVDs)

Mozy allows you to store any type of files, pictures or otherwise, SmugMug handles raw photos I believe as well, I don't have any cameras that take raw photos yet, so I am not 100% sure with them, but I know that Mozy could handle it, as it can back your entire computer up.

but once you delete files from your computer, carbonite only saves them for 30 days.

And from what I read, the same goes for mozy. If it's not on your computer, it takes it as you deleted it so there's no need to save it. From all of the threads and advice I've gotten, I think my best bet may be to go with someplace like bluehost. Supposedly with them I can put almost any type of file on there and they also let you do external hard drives, etc. :confused3 We'll see!!
