But boy what a trip my daughter and I had.

We arrived at regal sun resort saturday evening at about 5:30 after a 13 hour drive, the room wasnt the one I was supposed to get and after some discussions with the manager about a refund, the problem was fixed.:rolleyes1
we settled in for a little rest and then hit downtown disney.

sunday: A.K. We arrived a little late due to a late breakfast so we were a bit far back in the line at the rope drop, so we missed most of the opening show.
Rope dropped and we made a dash to E.E., and to our surprise we walked right on. A.W.E.S.O.M.E. ride. We rode it twice more. Hit the safari ride and then the river raft ride (sorry, its name escapes me). saw Devine as well, that was kool.
We ate at the rain forest cafe. I was nervous about this after reading some of the reports here about it, but it was pretty good in my opinion.
we left and went back to the hotel for a while, then hit disney west side.
we didnt get dreamed this day.:guilty:

Monday: Disney studios. This time we were at the front of the rope drop. we saw a pretty funny pre show, then it was a Mad dash to rockin' roller coaster. VERY kool ride. We rode it twice in a row, then hit T.O.T. We bounced back and forth between these two throughout the day. The crowds, to our amazement, were pretty lite, so we got to ride R.R.C. 9 times and T.O.T. 6.. saw B & the B live as well, good show. Saw fantasmic at the end of the day, that was amazing.
no dreams won this day.:(

tuesday: epcot. We were At the front of the rope drop, and minnie came over to me, pointed at my firefighter T-shirt, and made kissy sounds:love:
Mickey shook my hand and hugged my daughter. I Got some good pics of them.
The rope dropped and we rushed to soarin'. amazing ride there. We only rode it once though. Mission space was next, we rode it 3 times, then hit test track.
We then made our way to world showcase, and had a bite at mexico. We Made our way slowly around world showcase, taking our time and letting it all sink in, buying little things here and there. Then the bad weather moved in. Heavy rain set in and I got soaked before I could purchase a poncho, oh well:laughing:
Still No dreams yet.:sad1:

wednesday M.K. we got here early, but a monorail broke down on the track so it prevented us from making it to the rope drop.
We finally made it in at 9:45 and walked right on S.M., got right back in line and rode it again with in 5 mins... we then headed to splash mountain, loved it. When we were exiting the ride, this lady walks up and says " congratulations, you've won dream fastpasses for the day" we were like WOW!!!! we only had to use three of them though because the crowds were not bad at all, so we have a neat little memento to keep. We left for a little while and returned a couple of hours later. While waiting on the monorail. I asked the C.M. if we could ride up front and he said sure. My daughter loved it.
We had to hold up our right hand and swear an oath, and we got a neat little card as well. Oh, by the way, I left a firefighter patch in the fire station there, it says ''Mississippi fire academy'' in case any of you are interested.
and of course we did all the rest of the usual rides. Haunted mansion, small world, pirates, etc etc..
:wizard:

thursday: universal. very VERY lite crowds, we rode everything we wanted to ride several times over at both parks. It felt like a ghost town in the morning. A lady working there said next week would be horrible due to spring break and said I picked a perfect time to come. It looks like Feb 23rd thru 29th of next year is gonna be my date to go again.
Next time though, i'm staying in a disney resort.

So sad its over, but i'm already planning our next one.

Wow! It sounds like you had really good luck with crowds. How lucky to be able to ride all the great rides over and over. Sounds like you had a great trip!:goodvibes

What luck with the rides, :thumbsup2 Feb 23rd thru 29th :scratchin I'll have to remember that. :) Glad you had a fun trip.
