One of my friends is getting married in a few months. Invites have already been sent.

One of her work collegues has been trying to be particularly friendly to her lately. This isn't someone she knows socially, or even well.

Said coworker had a fit today when she found out invites were sent already...seems she felt she should be invited...is furious she wasn't...began asking other coworkers where and when it was, and what kind of food was going to be served???

People amaze me to no end.

I know someone like this. She thinks she is the "socialite" of town, we live in a town of 12,000 people, there are no 'socialites' . Anyway, we got invited to a wedding that she considered "the" social event of the year, it was just a wedding I don't know why she thought this, but they didn't get invited. We don't really like the couple that was getting married and weren't planning on going, not even sure why we got invited in the first place. Anyway, she wanted to 'use' our invite to go to the wedding, um, no, they didn't invite you for a reason.
