One of my friends is getting married in a few months. Invites have already been sent.

One of her work collegues has been trying to be particularly friendly to her lately. This isn't someone she knows socially, or even well.

Said coworker had a fit today when she found out invites were sent already...seems she felt she should be invited...is furious she wasn't...began asking other coworkers where and when it was, and what kind of food was going to be served???

People amaze me to no end.

Well, I can't imagine anyone's wedding I'd want to go to badly enough to throw a hissy fit about not being invited--unless it was a member of my immediate family!

Pretty darn tacky! Is this co-worker planning on crashing the wedding, I wonder? It sounds like it if she wants all the details. People never cease to amaze me!

I really think she is planning on crashing it...I told my friend I hope the other coworker (who IS a friend of hers and is invited) doesn't tell her the details!

Trying to find out about the food cracks me up. Is she planning on requesting the chicken or the beef? :rotfl2:

I only hope she is as funny as Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn. ;)

She sounds a bit nuts to me.

Wow! She sounds like a WHACK job. Maybe she has something in her closet she was hoping to regift. :rotfl:

My friend (the one having the wedding) says it's common knowledge that this chick is all about events with free food.

I have never once heard about a wedding and thought, "Hmmm...wonder what's to eat?"

So what, does she plan on crashing some sweet sixteens next?

This woman sounds real nutty.

It would serve her right if they served spaghetti

oh, it's a DRY wedding...I know she isn't expecting that! I half hope she WILL crash it!

I can picture it now -- Hey, I'm here!! Where's the bar? :confused3 :confused3

I know someone like this. She thinks she is the "socialite" of town, we live in a town of 12,000 people, there are no 'socialites' :rotfl2: . Anyway, we got invited to a wedding that she considered "the" social event of the year, it was just a wedding I don't know why she thought this, but they didn't get invited. We don't really like the couple that was getting married and weren't planning on going, not even sure why we got invited in the first place. Anyway, she wanted to 'use' our invite to go to the wedding, um, no, they didn't invite you for a reason.
