Can anybody explain the difference to me? I know nada about electronics and my daughter is asking for a boombox for Christmas. Target has two radios (the brand is TruTech). They appear to be exactly the same except that one is a digital something and one is analog. There is a $10 difference in price (the digital is more).

also, there is a Memorex one at another store for the same price as the digital TruTech. Would that be better? (she just wants to be able to listen to the radio and cds in her room, by the way...nothing fancy)

I would think it probably refers to the tuning method, analog, turning a dial with a physical bar of some sort sliding across a station index to show the station, as opposed to digital tuning, pushing a button, most likely, and seeing a digital readout of the stations.
