Gee - who knew it would be warmer in Central IL this weekend than in Southern California! The forecast for March 10-12 seems to get worse every time I check it...59/52/55 with rain Friday and Saturday, and a low of 38 Sunday night. :( Naturally - it starts warming back up the day we leave Disneyland!

Yeah, I'm pretty disappointed as well. Being from Seattle I was looking forward to a little Southern CA sunshine. Not this time I guess. I'm off to buy some raingear for the 4 of us.........

Its actually starting to look slightly better as the day goes on. We were at 30% chance of rain on Friday, now its down to 20%. Saturday still doesnt look good- 60% chance of rain.

I know, I've been constantly checking the weather. We leave tomorrow and I'm trying to convince myself that rain or shine we'll still have fun. But with a 3 yr old, who knows! Hoping for at least one good day in the park!

We were there last week and got pouring rain on one of the days. Our daughter had just turned three and she did great. We took her rainboots and her raincoat, we wore our disneyland ponchos and we just made the best of it. My parents were able to take our 1 year old son back to the room to nap during the worst of it but we took him back out with us in the evening. The only thing that happened that was really bad was that the poncho fell off the stroller while we were in a ride and then it was soaked. This meant we had to carry Jace throughout the entire park. On IASW Jaedyn's seat of her pants got soaked so we ended up carrying her back to the hotel. I recommend taking a dry towel with you to wipe down the seats of the rides to avoid the wet butt thing. :thumbsup2

I promise you will still have fun even if it is a bit wet.

I think Luvmy2Js was there the same day we were, a week ago Monday. lol Tho, by the sounds of these posts it may rain harder than it did for us, just break out the ponchos and umbrellas and make the best of it. I think my girls had more fun using an umbrella (not much use for 'em here in Phoenix, 141 days without rain and counting!). lol

The rain (or even the threat of it) should keep the crowds down, so try not to dwell on it and go have fun. Take a break midday (and evening?) for a change of clothes, and you should be fine. The only rides I know of that closed last week were Alice's and the teacups, so the park should be yours for the taking (unless it's a super-heavy rain and/or lightning).

Thanks for that piece of advice. I'll remember to throw one of the hotel hand towels in our backpack so she doesn't end up with a wet toosh!

It's starting to sprinkle now (Friday 10:30 AM) and it is supposed to to more later today and tomorrow. Bring warm clothes, dress in layers and add a rain poncho. I agree with the hand towel too. This way you can do a quick wipe dowm of the outside rides before sitting down. I think the crowds will be less than the norm for this weekend so if you are dressed properly you may be able to do lots in a short time period. I want to go too but I am sick. :furious: This weather would only make it worse.

Have fun!

We'll be there tomorrow in the rain with ya'. Disney in the rain isn't so bad if you bring ponchos. Think of it as just a new Disney experience. Everyone can visit DL in the sun, but rain...

We're here now and it was really cold last night. But thankfully it only rained about 30min yesterday. The sun is already peeking out this morning so hoping for the best.
