Any opinions on this hotel?
Distance to park entrance?
Walkable or do you need a shuttle?

It gets positive remarks from people who stay there.
You will need to use a shuttle.

Just so you are clear. There are 2 Sheratons in Anaheim. The Sheraton Anaheim looks like a castle and is north of the park (on the backside of Toontown). it has its own shuttle. Big rooms but small bathrooms. The walk is fairly long and not that scenic.

The other one is the Park Sheraton Anaheim. It is a high rise, south of the Park. It is about a 15 minute walk along Harbor Blvd. or you can take the ART shuttle. It is a little more upscale and many rooms have nice but distant views of the fireworks.

We stayed at the Sheraton Anaheim for years but have now switched our loyalty to the Park Sheraton. -- Suzanne

I have never stayed at the Sheraton Anaheim, but I booked a Disney Good Neighbor Hotel package at the Sheraton Park at the Anaheim Resort for 4 nights last month. It was my second stay at that hotel, and I thought our room was very nice. The package with tickets was a better value than booking the hotel and tickets separately. I walked to Disneyland every day, and it took 10-15 minutes.

From the Park Sheraton on Harbor it should be faster to walk across the street and take the free Disney bus from the Toy Story lot to Disneyland gates.

I consider the Sheraton Anaheim to be the best kept secret nearby DLR. If we don't stay onsite, we always stay here. What is there not to like?? :thumbsup2

Like others have already stated the rooms are bigger than usual. The hotel grounds are well kept and the rooms are relatively inexpensive. There is no need to walk to the park because they run their own private shuttles every 30 minutes. Pickup is right in front of the hotel lobby and drop off is right outside DLR gates. If you must walk, it would take about 10-15 minutes. You can walk up Ball Road to S. Harbor which I find unpleasant too because you have to go over the I-5 overpass. I've done it once and would not do it again. Another route is to walk up Disneyland Drive and then through DTD. Seems the distance is comparable either way.

Another Sheraton anaheim fan here...big rooms, small bathroom, beautiful grounds, most comfortable beds ever...and you can see the fireworks from the front parking lot. :thumbsup2

We stay there often. It is a very easy walk, easier than a bus or shuttle IMO. That being said my daughter and some friends were there in August and said they crossed the street to the ToyStory lot and took the shuttle for free and they thought it was fast.

I think you're referring to the Sheraton Park by the Convention Center. skiingfast was referring to the Sheraton Anaheim.
