anaheim plaza....is it really that bad?

I am planning on staying may 1-3. I love honks but I am hesitant to bookthe ent rate. There is a very small chance I may have to cxl as it gets closer. I want to be within walking distance but I don't want to spend a lot of $$$..

We don't mind Anaheim Plaza. When I can't get the EC rate at Hojo or the cheap rate at Desert, Anaheim Plaza is our next choice. Actually, we currently have reservations there in November just in case we decide to go.

It's nothing special but nothing aweful.

I'd book the API and when you know if Hojo's has ENT available book that and cancel API.

Have you looked at Ramada Maingate - at the Park? It is closer than both HoJo's and Anaheim Plaza. They have really good rates and lots of specials. Google it to find their homepage where the specials are posted.

We really liked staying there...it isn't fancy, but clean and close to the crosswalk. Also, they are remodeling their pool which is really nice and big. They do have a free breakfast, which is very limited, but at least it is something. Also, free wi fi and free parking!

We didn't mind it, we would stay there again for sure.....the rooms were big, outdated but really big and the biggest issue was the water temp, it fluctuated way too much, going from hot to cold in seconds.....but yes, we would stay there again.

Its used to be our cheap go to when Hojos doesn't have Ent Rate. We have never had a bad experience there. Its not something to write home about either. Just a cheap, clean place to stay. I liked it better when they were always $59/nite. Now that they are a little more money on a regular basis its worth checking others in the area. Which is how we ended up at Ramada Maingate for our upcoming trip. $79/nite with our corporate discount. Beat Anaheim Plaza rates for the same dates. We'll see how it goes!
