Anaheim Plaza Hotel ? For someone that recently stayed there

Has anyone recently stayed at the Anaheim Plaza Hotel that can answer a question about how their reservations work? Its been almost a year since I stayed there last and can't remember...

How do they deal with charging you for your reservation. Do they just put a credit card number on file, put a hold for the reservation amount, charge at the time of reservation,etc? I can't remember

Basically we are trying to get out debt and pay down our High Interest C.C.s. However, it sort of defeats the purpose if we turn around and use one of those to book the room if it gets charged right away. On the flip side I'd rather not tie up my Debit Card w/ a hold or charge for the entire amount for several months leading up to the trip.

Anyone remember what their policy is for what is required to hold a reservation? If I don't hear back here within the next day or so I will probably just call them and ask.

Well we haven't stayed there recently but when we did I used 1 cc to reserve the room and then we checked in with a different cc, they didn't charge us anything until we checked out.

I am pretty sure that was what we ended up doing last time too, but couldn't remember for sure.

I asked them this when I booked there - they don't place a hold on your card or charge your card in advance. They charge your card when you check out.
