Anaheim new years eve

I'll be in Anaheim for new year's eve and planning on going to the Disney resort (2nd time)
Last time I only went to one park. I could go for two days and do the other park, or would you recommend 2 parks 1 day on december 31??
Will there still be some of christmas left in the parks?
I know from DLP that they celebrate christmas till the first week of january. How about Anaheim?
BTW I'm planning to buy tickets on the day itself....wise or not??

I recommend buying tix ahead of time. It's going to be crazy busy. I also recommend getting to DL early, and I wouldn't leave if I were going there.

The Christmas decorations will be up for a few more days after the first of January.

Yes, the decorations will be up.

It will be INSANELY crowded. I am a die-hard Disney fan and allow me to say that we did New Year's Eve once at Disneyland - and will never ever do it again.

Wow, we have a sweet booked for New Years...but I really do not like when the parks get that crazy....just might have to cancel now...thanks for the heads up
