Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel walking

Can you easily/safely walk from the Anaheim Majestic Hotel to the Downtown Disney District? I haven't stayed there since it was a Sheraton and I think we always took the shuttle and never tried to walk anywhere. Heck, Downtown Disney may have not even existed back then, lol.

Hubby is going to a seminar at the hotel and I am thinking I'll be in Downtown Disney when his seminar ends and it may be easier for him to walk over to me vs. me driving out and getting him and bringing him back. I've just had a lot of difficulties with "quick easy drives" at all things Disneyland lately. I just don't know if there is a sidewalk/walking path from one place to the other.

Not easily, the walk is basically the east side of Disneyland Drive, to Magic Way, then using the crosswalks at the Downtown Disney Parking entrance head towards the ESPN Zone and the security check for Downtown Disney.

On the map it does not look like a bad walk but in reality it is. You have to cross a really busy road that doesn't have much foot traffic in that area. I would not recommend that walk. They have their own shuttle that runs every 30 minutes. Take the shuttle back to the hotel from Disney instead of driving.

Maybe it will be easier for me to just go to the Majestic and hang out there. I was going to have a couple hours to kill before picking him up, which is why I was thinking hitting a movie or something in Downtown Disney. I could probably just hang out at the Majestic and read a book and have a couple drinks.

You could park at DTD. You could walk to DLH a little bit more easily than DTD, especially with the new security.
