Hi! I am looking for a nice hotel within walking distance of the parks (10 mins or less). There are 4 of us and a suite/mini suite would be great but a 2 bed room is fine too. I am wondering if any of you have stayed at the Fairfield Inn and how you liked it? Were the outward facing hallways a problem? We are going for Halloween for the first time and are very excited, we just want to make sure we are picking the right hotel. Any thoughts would be great! Thank you! party:

I am staying @ the Fairfield inn in October and this will be the 3 stay I have had there. The rooms are clean, staff is friendly, if you get a room on a high floor facing the parks you can watch the fireworks....the outside hallways have not been a problem for us it is not noisy due to the hotel being set back off the road, and the walk is short.
Mcdonalds is next door as Millies (sp) is in the parking lot. I have never used the pool but I do like this hotel.

We've stayed a number of times at the Fairfield, and we really enjoy it. It is clean, the beds are comfy, and the staff is friendly. My kids enjoy the pool, and it is close to Mimi's and McDonalds!

We will be staying in the Fairfield for Halloween this year. Thanks everyone for the kind remarks on the hotel. We didn't plan for a park view room, but would love to see the fireworks. I just can't add another dime into this last minute surprise trip. Maybe IF they have open park view rooms they will work with us? I'm sure we'll have a great time either way.

Thank you so much for all of your replies!! :yay: I feel better about booking it now. :D

We stayed there a couple of years ago and will be back there again next month when we go. We liked it because it was clean, had good beds, the people were friendly, and it was close. Also nice to have McD and the restaurant right in the parking lot. Able to see the fireworks at night if you have the right room. Did I mention it was close ;)

We stay there often and are staying again in October (more than 10 times for us) and we love the hotel. I love the beds, the pillows the staff, the location. Our son loves that McDonalds is right there and Pizza Hut is in the hotel.

Comfy friendly service, and a nice walk.

I wouldn't worry too much about getting a park view room. You can see the fireworks best from the upper balconies (a little easier to see than from many of the park view rooms) - and the balconies are public walkways. If you end up in a room with a poor view, take the elevator up and find a place to watch them. :) Just don't block a window or person and it's all okay.
