I booked my trip yesterday through getawaytoday and settled on the Crown Plaza... It looks like it will be perfect for us, even though we will have to rent a fridge while we are there.
I have read reviews on expedia and such, but would love to hear what the experts in here have to say:)) Good OR bad!!

Thanks:)

We'll be there soon also, 3/10 and 3/11, but have never stayed there before.
For us, it was part of a time share deal, so I hope to also see some reveiws.

I think I better check on the refridgerator thing, since I thought we would have one.

My son and I stayed there over the summer and really enjoyed it. Their rooms were very comfortable and they have pillow top mattresses, a whole sleep system (relaxing CD music, clips to hold the drapes closed, a night light in the bathroom or where ever you need it, amromatherapy spray for the pillows, ear plugs and more....) We enjoyed the pool too but then again it was summer. Since I was not with my DH I could not attend the timeshare presentation to get whatever free items they were giving away. We enjoyed Joes Crab Shack right next door. There is also a few other good restraunts to try if you need a change from Disney. There is also a Target across the street if you forget anything... there is a very small gift shop inside the hotel and parking is in the back.. once we parked the car though we used their free shuttle to go to and from the parks. It was always on time and very convient. If I remember correctly it stopped every 30 minutes.
Have fun!

We were there for Spring Break 2 years ago and were really pleased with it. It's an extremely comfortable hotel, and, as a previous poster said, the sleep package amenities were a nice extra touch. There's a Red Robin in the same parking lot which was nice the morning we arrived while waiting for our room. The only hitch was we called ahead and said our flight would arrive at 9 am, could our room be ready? (We arrived on a Wed., checked out on Sat.) They said it would be no problem. We sat in the lobby after eating at Red Robin at 11, until 3, which was the regular check in time. A little annoying, but can't get too upset since we were arriving early, anyway.

At the time, it's shuttle also stopped at another hotel, but Crowne Plaza picked up first so we always got on without a problem. One morning when we wanted to arrive for Early Entry we just got a cab, it wasn't too expensive.

When we go back to DL in December of this year we won't stay here again just because we'd like to take advantage of being able to walk to the park. But if you're looking for a nice and comfortable hotel with restaurants nearby, and don't mind the shuttle (which was always on time) I think you'll be happy.

Does anyone have information on the shuttle ride back to the hotel at the end of the night? Did you eat at the buffet in the hotel? Was it worth the cost?

Hooray! Thanks for your replies:)

To the above poster, I booked through getawaytoday and got the buffet breakfast for free. I don't know about the shuttle back, but I do know their shuttle leaves 1/2 hour before the park opens.

Thanks again everyone :goodvibes

Hello

I live in California and go to Disneyland all the time. I often use priceline for my rooms. I always select the three star option as this is the highest available for the Disneyland area. I almost always end up with Crown Plaza. I usually get my bid accepted at $40-$45 per night. It is a very nice hotel with large rooms and very comfy beds. The one gripe I have it since I drive to DL I have my car and their parking lot is lacking to say the least. I usually use the valet parking area if I return after midnight and it is not manned then. I park and keep my keys and do not pay them. Otherwise you will be trying to park way behind the hotel and in a barely lit lot. NO THANKS! As for the hotel rooms they are just fine and heck for a priceline room at $40 bucks I will continue to stay there over and over.
