Anacortes Ferry

Okay, I've lived in Victoria all my life and I've never been on the Anacortes Ferry.

We are going to go via Anacortes to get to Seattle for our flight at the end of June.

Wondering about the reservation system? Can anyone who has used the ferry tell me how necessary ressies are? Also, what food services are available on the ferry?

We are going to make a reservation for going, but considering not for coming back. If the ferry is booked coming back, we can always go the long way thru Vancouver.

Hi from Victoria! I don't really know the answers to your Q, but my parents will be using that ferry at the end of the month and I can report back after that! Have you checked their website? I would probably make a reservation, at least for the way down, but I usually do for the bc ferries too, that's just me

Is the Anacortes ferry a Wash. State Ferry?? I think it is. You would go to either Washing state ferries or BC Ferries and make a reservation from there. They are straight forward. I would book soon as it is a very popular summer route.
