Which one would you choose? I can get a pretty comparable rate for all 3--but have never stayed at any of them.
Any comments would help!
Thanks!:)
Also-- can you get a good view room with any of them? And how are the pools?

The only one I've ever stayed at is the Annabella- three or four times now. The hotel rooms are very nice- there are two pools both rather small but the adults only pool was empty. I never really noticed a view from the rooms, I've only had first floor rooms. It's so close to DL though and I think that's the best part. It's a ten minute walk to get into the GC which is Disney enough for me!

You might want to read through the threads--there were some recent postings about the Carousel that would indicate to me it is not a good place to stay.

Carousel? i wouldnt stay at. There was a thread here it got heated so is gone, but i will never stay there after reading it. ppls things went missing from there room. All i will say so dont get in trouble. But the other two i dont know enough about
Im staying at desert inn HoJO's is also another one very nice if wasnt as far i would probley stay there. I have staied at.
Camolet was grate we saw fireworks from our window the brekfest was fine. and wasnt to far a walk. but beware the mc'ds next store likes to rip you off..
But camoloet room was very comfy. Just tossing in my 2 cents all the way around

The thread was deleated but there is one called how to keep things safe in room or something down a few pages. it mintions what happened and stuff

i stayed at the anabella in oct. 06 & am planning to stay there again on our trip this fall. it was really nice & very close to disney (not far to walk or the ART trolley picks up right outside).

Hmm I didn't see the heated thread about the Carousel, so I don't know what that was about. But I have stayed in all three...and I would say the Carousel. Our experience was good there. I thought it was a little better than the BWPPI, and it is directly across the street (where the Anabella is behind the park with a slightly father walk, although I like the Anabella very much and I think the rooms are great). I know the BWPPI is across the street too, but I perfer the Carousel. But if all three were the same price I would pick the Carousel. The Anabella and Carousel are owned by the same company so the look of the rooms is similar.

Really any of the three would be a fine choice (nones of these are the Hyatt, and they are all sort of on the same quality level).

Have fun! Be sure to shop around for prices especially on the Anabella, sometimes I'll find $80 or $110 and that is for the same night- make sure you get the best deal!

Also, if you see a really good rate on something like Expedia but would prefer to book directly with the hotel, call the Anabella directly. They will match any rate that is cheaper than their direct one. They will check it out to make sure that rate does exist!

I did that recently, the rate on Expedia was about $60 less a night for their MIssion Suite. They matched it. Then I ended up cancelling and going over the Hojo. But I though that was nice. The Carousel being a sister property might do the same thing.

I have stayed at BWPPI, the room was very nice ( we had a mini suite). It was spacious, very clean and we could see the fireworks from right outside our door. However, the pool was lame, very small and they don't allow you to take things from their free breakfast area to your room which sort of annoyed me. However, the staff was nice, the room again, was clean and looked very updated and the location was perfect. The location of the BWPPI and the Carousel cannot be beat. The Carousel has had some bad press around here lately and one other issue that may or may not matter to you, it doesn't have a hot tub.

We stayed at the Carousel in 2006 and are tossing up between BWPPI and Carousel for next year. I don't know why the thread was pulled either but I do know that the matters raised in it were of a criminal nature and are under investigation.

I don't think you can go wrong at either property, had some friends stay at Annabella in 2005 and they enjoyed their stay but it is certainly a lot further walk from DL.
