An Update and a Confession

Well I went to a wedding last Sunday and I didn't eat too poorly - but we went to our friend's house afterward and I had two slices of pepperoni pizza. When I weighed in on Tuesday I was up one pound.

Tonight (Thursday) I weighed in and lost that pound. BUT (and here's the REAL confession) my DH and I went to Don Pablo's for dinner and I had tortilla chips with salsa, chicken fajitas and when I got home I had a piece of my son's leftover birthday cake and a glass of whole milk! GASP!!!!!!! I was SOOOOOOOOOOOO bad tonight!!!!!! But in a way I think I needed to give in to these cravings.

ANYWAY..........

I am going back on program 110% tomorrow - in fact I already planned my meals out. So hopefully when I go for my next weigh-in I will be the same or a little less.

I am going to live vicariously through you. I bet that cake tasted great. I used to enjoy my cake...
I was cooking for the family last night and making them mashed potatoes. I poured some into the potatoes and just couldn't help myself, I used to love whole milk. I poured myself a small amount in the 1/4 cup measuring cup I was using and chugged it down. How could I have ever drank that stuff. Give me Crystal light and water any time. lol
I know you will get yourself back on track, sometimes we all need a little break. I am saving mine for my trip on Sept 19th. Peggie

I believe that there is a rule in the WISH bylaws that says that what happened in the past <i>stays</i> in the past. Pretty sure that's in there somewhere because you know what? We can't go back and change the past, can we?

Don't beat yourself up about this, don't go feeling guilty. Feeling guilty is a waste of your valuable life. Learn from this experience and go forward.

You are back on track, newly determined and you are going to do great!

Onward and downward, sweetie. Hang in there. You <i>can</i> do this, all of your WISH friends will help you.

Thanks for the encouragement! So far today I've been right on track - now only if I could find the time to get to Curves. Maybe tomorrow morning.........

We all mess-up sometimes and eat what we shouldn't, but hey, we are only human, right? :) Good for you for getting right back on plan! That's what's truly important. :)
 
Hi there,

This is a lifestyle change and in LIFE there will be times when you have a bit more than you wanted. The thing you have to do is just MOVE ON. What really matters is if you stop and get back on the program, which you did. Great job for stopping the pattern.
