We arrived yesterday...staying at POR and love it! So peaceful and beautiful, the room is very nice, very clean.
This is our first trip to Disney. We went to Epcot today. Got there before rope drop..just standing with the crowd waiting... a cast member was walking around. We noticed he was also from CT, so we chatted for a bit, he noticed our first visit buttons..then he moved on. No big deal.. we counted down with the crowd...and started to move with them towards soaring. Then the same cast member comes up and asks us to please follow him. We had no idea what was going on... I thought perhaps we were going to get a fast pass for Soaring...well we ended up being the first family of the day to ride Soaring....all by ourselves! It was unbelievable
What a way to start our very first day at Disney
the day continued to be great....my son and husband had a conversation with Crush...we never waited in line (except for about 10 minutes to see the characters) Got FP for soaring, mission space and test track. Rode everything we wanted to with out waits (thank you TGM!)
Came back midday to swim in the pool. Mouse keeping had set up my childrens stuffed animals and blanket like a dog pulling sled.
Tonight when I went to purchase a mickey ice cream on a stick for my daughter, the kind person at the ice cream cart gave it to her as a "gift from Mickey" since this was her first visit!
What a fantastic day. I love disney
