This is the type of organization system I used to dream about. Nice to know it can become a reality for some people.

Of course! He's the only guy I know who looks good in spats.
I've only seen him in Mickey's Christmas Carol... which we seem to watch year-round in my house!
Congrats on being mostly paid off!
Kathy
You really are organized! Just look at that budget! Even the Mug has been accounted for.
I'm a stickler when it comes to keeping receipts. It helps me budget for my next trip... or how to cut down on my next trip![]()
DuckTales was my favorite show growing up. I bought the DVD set a few years back and watch it all the time. Out of the Not-so-famous Disney Characters Scrooge McDuck is my absolute favorite!!!!!!!!! I used to want to be like him and swim in a pile of coins! I always thought it was cool that he could actually SAVE moneyI still haven't mastered that part yet!
I love the fact that you thought enough to make a financial section. That is something I would never think of!
Oh yes! Reciepts come in very handy when you are trying to remember the order of what you did for your TR....there are all date and time stamped.
I know that either DH or I had the creme brulee on our last trip, and it was fabulous. I looked at the menu, and think that the other dessert we (DH) got was the lemon curd, which he liked but I didn't as much. And I agree that those dessert martinis look amazing! They have similar drinks at a fondue restaurant chain here called The Melting Pot - yum! Can't wait til I can have one again.
So nerve-racking! When we made our trip to Mexico last month, we had been up since 5 AM on Saturday (to make a character breakfast ADR at DL - so worth it!), and I did not get to sleep until 2 PM on Sunday (28 hours with a time change). To say I was exhausted was an understatement! The worst part was we had to attend a mass ceremony at noon on Sunday, and that was so hard to sit (and stand and kneel) through when that tired! I hope you are able to get some sleep sooner - graduation ceremonies can get rather long (and sometimes boring).
Yikes, that is a lot of money! Glad you were able to find a more reasonable solution.
Crap, I was looking at the Jiko dinner menu and didn't see MY filet there anymore! But then I scrolled down to the Child's Menu and there it is - a $41 filet on the children's menu next to the $7 mac n cheese and the $6 PB&J
That is one expensive kid's meal!
I loved that you used Scrooge for the financial section! I only know him from the Mickey's Christmas movie that we used to watch when I was younger. It was 'A Christmas Carol' or something like that.
P.S. I just updated on the TR!

Sorry I was missing in action earlier today...super busy at the office (and now sweating through the hockey game). I love the financial section of your journal -- very clever. I always stuff my receipts in an envelope. Wouldn't it be great if we could write them off on our taxes.![]()
hey! sorry i've been MiA! But anyway, just read your last post! I'm loving your financial section of your journal! So cute! you're so organized! Alrighty, gotta go back and catch up!
Hi Leisa!![]()

But for pics inside restaurants, I would recommend this thread: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1116965
Don't worry about your running being slow! I am sure because you are running longer now you are running slower than you did before. So your average speed hasn't improved, even though you are still running faster than you are walking. Running slow is a good thing, because that means that you actually manage to run for the full 20 minutes. Your speed will improve the longer you train! Congratulations on being halfway through the programm! Are you going to be able to keep up your trainig while you are in Chaostan?
THANKS!! I knew I could count on you!!![]()
I wish the first 8 minutes were easier! It is sooooooooo hard to press through them and not be tempted to give up!! I was on the track yesterday,a nd there was a bunch of fat old guys running WAY faster than me, and I was utterly embarrassed!!!![]()
I think I can keep running, but may have to drop back to easier runs- the elevation is QUITE A BIT higher than here. I"m glad I didn't delete my earlier runs podcasts!
You are welcome! Yes, I guess as an unofficial member of the Jambo Wilbunch I am the resident AKL (only non-DVC though) expert here!![]()
Running in thin air might be difficult, so going a bit back might be a good idea. But you know that this is supposed to have a great training effect? Al lot of athletes go on high altitude training camps before the Olympics!![]()
Don't stress about others running faster than you! Speed isn't the thing you are looking for, you want to build up your stamina. Running too fast will even be counterproductive for that goal!!
Are you running on a real track or somewhere in the countryside?
DHS plans sound good. We've not tried Starring Rolls yet. It looks yummy!
We will be at DAK on the 11th then DTD at night.
Congratulations on making it through the 20 minute run!!![]()

Many of us can walk faster than we can "run" but running takes a lot more effort so it's more of a workout. Your speed will increase over time. As you know, I waited until I completed the program before I started working on the speed. I'm currently running a 13 minute mile, which is still quite slow. But, I'm slowly making progress.
So happy for you Liesa!![]()
Don't worry about running slowly. As long as you're getting your heart rate up, breathing, improving circulation etc. .....you're doing your body good.

You broke my record for slowest 20 minutes?????
Man I'm bummed. It was just about the only athletic record I'll ever qualify for.I'm happy to see it go to such a worthy fellow athlete.
Darn it, I don't have a Boma pic for you!
