An Invasion of a "STRANGER" Kind.... NEW THREAD IS UP!! Go Thee NOW!

OK, then I would have felt REALLY, REALLY bad!! If you had done the math, though, my oh my, how sweet it would have been!! :rotfl2:

I intended to bring it up as it just didn't make sense

but...then...thought...maybe my dates are off on her actual trip and I need to re-look before I say hey, that's not possible and well...I don't much like being wrong and....

I had a 3 hour massage to get to.

Priorities you know.

Thanks for the update on Joseph.

Millie, I've heard pretty good things about the Wishes Dessert. Can't remember whose report I read it on. There might even be a blog on it on allears...not sure. It might be something we book for Peepfest.:thumbsup2

Thank you Jordy. I think doing this for Peepfest is a great idea!:thumbsup2

Heidi just posted a wonderul installment about her Wishes dessert. Here's the link to her post:

Looks fabulous!!

Thanks Mama, you know I appreciate and value your opinion and thoughts on things. :goodvibes

Holy visas Batman!!!:scared1:

:rotfl: To say the least! Right?!?

:scared1::scared1:

You aren't going to believe this!! We just found out that our visas will expire at the end of July, and that we must leave the country to renew them. DH is telling me that it won't be worth it to do that for only one more month of time that we need for the month of August, so we may just come back to the States then. He's asking me to move up my trip dates, to coordinate with already being back East too. I asked Mary, and she said I probably should do this!!!!

:scared1::scared1:

UuuUp! Aaaaand Dooowwwn. UuuuuUUP! <---Leisa's life on the Steppe. Craziness I tell ya! :laughing: It wouldn't be a good life if it didn't take it's twists and turns, would it? Well, what do you think? Are you excited about it?! :)

Meantime, the guessing deadline has come and gone- it's time to put this game to bed. I'll bet you are all dying to know just how you did on this little piece of fun we've been having! Aren't you? You are, right?!!

May I just state now, that you all did very, very well! I am proud of you, and can honestly say, that I'd proudly allow you onto my planning team at any time.... OH WAIT, you already are!! :lmao:

THANKS, EVERYONE for playing along!! Stuff like this really helps to pass the time and is so much fun!! I think we MAY have time for one more game before I leave- but I'm still thinking on it!!

Your welcome and....Thank you for giving us fun things to play along to! :goodvibes

No Trampolines at my house either! I don't even like the idea of DD getting on one.
Don't blame you one bit here. :sad2:

Tnkerbelle565 (Kristine) attended it in October and said that she wouldn't spend the money again. When she was there, people wouldn't stay at the tables and lined the railing to watch Wishes and then no one else could really see. Not sure if that is the case every time or if they rectified it. Let me know what you find out - I am considering it.

I'm seriously thinking about it and everything I've read says more good than bad, I think the menu should have at least five to six things you would be over the moon to try, otherwise what would be the point of spending that kind of money.

Camille - I asked your dates because we are going to spend two days at WDW in May! We always wanted to stay at the Poly but could never afford it for a week so we are staying there this time. We will be at Universal 5/15 - 5/17, on a RCCL Bahamas cruise 5/17 - 5/21, then 5/21 - 5/23 at the Poly (probably doing the MK on 5/21 and resort time, resort hopping and DTD on 5/22).

OK, how cool is it that your going to be there at the same time we are. I realize how precious the time is there with our families so I won't hold you to a meet, but we could exchange #'s before we go just in case it happens to work out that we can meet. :goodvibes Even if it's for a couple of minutes, just long enough so I can hug on your neck a sec and then we can at least say we got to meet one another in person. :goodvibes
I'll totally leave that up to you, I know what it's like to be in the world with a DH who's barely there because he wants to be, you never want to rock the boat harder than you have too. If you plan on being there for the Peepsfest we'll still get to meet. :goodvibes

HOLY COW!!!! This trip has been a total roller coaster!!!! :scared1::eek::scared1:

Congrats to Cynthia on winning the game!!! :cheer2::cheer2:

:woohoo: Go Cynthia! Go Cynthia! It's your birthday! Have a party! Get busy! :woohoo: Are you doing your happy dance yet? :laughing:

Good One! Here I was feeling all sorry for the refugees! :rotfl2:

Keep us posted on Joseph - so scarey - praying for him and his parents. Good thing they are getting him out of there. For some reason I thought I saw someone say he had cancer? I had to go back and read.

Oh my gosh, I hope the whole Visa thing doesn't completely mess up all of your plans.

Congrats to Cynthia! Enjoy your yurt. Or shashlik. Or fermented camel's milk.

Jordan did post his in white. I compared mine to his AFTER I submitted mine. (Believe me....well, how do I put this....let's just say it wouldn't have helped me to cheat off of him.)

A little birdie told me I got all of my answers right in the last round. :banana: Here was my thought process:

#1 "Won't use a regular park ticket" meant that it was probably a non-park restaurant (MNSSHP could throw a wrench into it, but I figured since you included it as a clue it was solid that it meant "non-park"). Then, since you were moving out of the Poly on that day, you'd be very efficient and hit Kona for breakfast.

#2 "Day at AK" translated to me as limiting this one to either Boma or Jiko. Question #5 saying "Lite meal earlier" told me that had to be Boma, so this one was Jiko, and you wouldn't go to Jiko for lunch, so Jiko for dinner.

#3 "Spending the day in Epcot" told me this had to be either Teppan Edo or Biergarten. "Touring WS counterclockwise" told me you'd hit Teppan Edo first. You're an efficient tourer, so this one will be Teppan Edo for lunch. The next one will be Biergarten for dinner.

#4 This one was already decided above. Biergarten for dinner.

#5 "Lite meal earlier" means we're going to Boma for dinner baybeee!

#6 "MK, no park-hopping" means somewhere near MK, but not necessarily in the park. "Reservation for 3, but not Mary" means you're meeting someone (I don't remember who), but where else would you go to meet somebody near MK, on a Sunday afternoon? Garden View for lunch.

#7 "Last TS meal, last park-time" translates to me that you want to stay in the park. And the last restaurant I have left is in MK. So, The Plaza for dinner.

Yea! What he said! :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

Almost forgot I will have to find a stand in for the NOSE PICKIN" Bushes sneak attack pix !!!:rotfl2:Looking for volunteers !!!:lmao:

I'm game! :rotfl:

Stories like Mya's break my heart! I know God's heart is broken too at the brokeness of things on Earth.

Without question. :sad2:

Update just came in re. Joseph... see below!
Thank you for the update.

As long as she doesn't go flying across the restaurant, land face first on me, and spill my drink!!! :rotfl2::lmao::rotfl2::lmao:

That would actually be pretty darn funny!

WHAT?!?! How did I get second?!?!? I seriously wasn't gonna guess at all. Maybe the last few months here have sunk in. I feel like I know WDW all ready and have yet to visit...

It's official now! You can't escape it. :laughing:

Yay !!! I loose !!!:rotfl2::rotfl2:
It's good to know a happy loser. :hug: Your so cute Rosie.

Apparently, ALL of you don't know me very well yet!!

HAPPY APRIL FOOL'S DAY!!!!
Your a Rat! :rolleyes:

Okay, now that I am finally out of my Vicodin induced coma, I am going to try and catch up now...
:flower3:

Oh suuuuure, you pick now to come out of your coma! Just when Leisa is being a RAT! :laughing:

Are you OK? What happened?

Camille---

I'm a rat, having fun in the name of a Mouse. ;)

Love all your musings!

Tammie---

Joseph, in case you didn't read above, fell from trampoline, and hit his head HARD on concrete. I haven't gotten an update today, but should later. I'll let you all know.

:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Oh man!! I'm still laughing! I thought for sure one of you would figure it out though! Even though it was all Mom's idea, she let me in on it, because she was having trouble coming up with something.

Anara and I made mom a cup of coffee, but instead of sugaring it, we SALTED it!!! I should have caught a pic of her face.

i missed the deadline. no excuse. i just havent been on the dis. mia got a c-diff infection and i have spent too much time on webmd stressing. i am behind on all the trip reports and have some major catching up to do. you did get me with your april fools and it would have been nice to have you guys take your trip in august after all thats when i will be there;)

Liesa, as you know I've been out of action. What have I missed here? I went back to the last update (CRAP! I missed the contest!!) and read from there to here. Is Joseph a family friend, I'm assuming? Wow, trampolines are scary business. And yes, we have on. On grass, not concrete. With a safety enclosure. But it still scares me, and I have tons of trampoline rules.

Well, I didn't have long to be fooled, since I'm only reading it now, but I got a little butterfly in my stomach at the thought of you being kicked out of the country early (and possibly forfeiting your trip!) Good one, girl!:goodvibes

I'm sorry to hear about the c-diff. Don't panic, is there anything we can do? And I'm sure not being on the DIS while dealing with the ickies is the last thing you need to worry about. :hug:
Let us know what we can do for y'all.

You guys stole that idea from me! I did that last year with a pitcher of Kool Aid with Citric Acid crystals.

My face was pretty funny, I'm sure; it tasted awful!! Even worse than the Nescrappe we buy here.

Sorry guys!! The Boards aren't let me multi-quote!! Have no idea why. This has happened before. Earlier this AM I couldn't even log on! :scared1: I thought they were playing a Board wide April Fool's joke!

Anyway, I really hope you're feeling better- being sick is NOT fun! I would love to meet ALL the August go-ers, but alas, the trip is set for Sept, and unless this nightmare scenario really does come true, it won't be changing.

However... if you're in either the DC area or the Nashville area, I'll be getting meets set up in August for both places :)

I noticed you didn't post any answers; and was wondering where you had gone to!

Joseph is the child of the family our oldest son lived with last school year. They live in the big city about 2 1/2 hours away by plane. I heard today that he is going through neuological exams in Istanbul. Trampolines are fun, but risky too!!

It actually, IS a possibility that they won't extend our visas in July- it always stresses us out some every year! :guilty:

Well, we've wrapped up the game of ADR Combat in its entirety, and had a little extra fun along the way. Hopefully, not too many of you are shell-shocked at the mind games I played!! I'll have to admit, it was terribly fun seeing all of your reactions! ;)

Is is possible that it's really April, and we have only have 5 short months left of talking and dreaming about what this trip will be???! This month is devoted to laying out our plans of attack, and today it's time for discussing DAY #2.

Let's take a look at the 2 possibilities that lie (or lay- not sure on the grammar on that one) before me.

OPTION #1-

9:00- Rope Drop at EPCOT

9:00-11:00- Tour Future World

11:00-3:30- Tour WS

1:00- ADR at R&C (Mary did call back and change this one, for those who are really keeping track!)

3:30- Head over to MK for MNSSHP #1

4:00-12:00- MNSSHP

Dinner at Cosmis Rays

1:00- Back to POP for bed

Let me give note to a couple of things.

~~~ Remember WAAAAAAAAAAAY back in the very beginning of this PTR- when I spelled out the things that are really important to me? Coffee in the AM is pretty high on my priority list. It gets me going and is part of my "life script" in psycho babble.
~~~ I also want you to take note that any mention of breakfast is curiously missing. Well, actually, it's not so curious- I don't usually eat breakfast until 10:30 or 11:00 and by then, I want food- lots of it, and hearty fare. Picking up a bagel at 8:30 in the POP food place just ain't gonna cut it. Remember, I'm a gagger. A dry bagel that early, would have disastrous consequences! Making it until 1:00 at R&C without something a little earlier is going to be very interesting, indeed.

So, things that have come to mind as I type this...

1) I need to remember to pack some REAL coffee bags, so I can get some hot water in the POP food place to make a good cup to head to the park with. Since the POP doesn't come with a coffee pot, that's the best I can do. I refuse to spend $2.50 or more on a cup of crap.

2) I need to think about a hearty-ish snack something to get around 10:30.

Now, onto OPTION #2:

This plan will be deployed IF I end up not being able to swing a 2nd MNSSHP. Depends on the cash flow. I really hope I can, but if not here's the alternate plan:

9:00- RD at MK (This may be my only chance to see MK's RD)

9:00- 12:30- Tour MK; focusing on Main Street, ToonTown (if it's still there), the castle area, and photography

12:30- Head to EPCOT

1:00- ADR at R&C

2:30- 12:00 AM- Tour EPCOT (skipping Illuminations)

Dinner at either Cantina or Tangierine

If I get tired or worn out at WS, I may skip out early and head somewhere else. Want to keep the options open. DTD is an option, as is resort hopping.

Liessa if you buy a refillable mug you can get all the crappy coffee you want !!!:rotfl2:

I am buying a mug, but will fill it with sorta ok-tasting Folgers single serves. I'm sure it will also service a few rum and cokes too. ;)

Apparently, ALL of you don't know me very well yet!!

Ugh, I realized it as soon as I read this sentence. I'm blaming it on pregnancy brain. :headache:

You're evil. Almost as evil as my friend (a mother of 4) who showed her husband a positive pregnancy test (supplied by a pregnant friend). :idea:

Your friend is an evil genious! :lmao:

TMI for sure, but interesting!

You haven't read TMI until you go to a pregnancy message board. You have what leaking out of where?!? :eek:

I am buying a mug, but will fill it with sorta ok-tasting Folgers single serves. I'm sure it will also service a few rum and cokes too. ;)

Starbucks makes instant singles too now. :goodvibes
