It really does! I was stunned when she told me 2:00! I mean I'm only 1 person, and it IS still 180 days out? does anyone know if I can sit in the pub and eat there?? Maybe I could try that for my 1:00 time??

i dont think you can get the full menu, but i'm probably wrong.

I was so tired last week I just couldn't concentrate - I'll try to keep up and play next time. I'm glad you're getting them - strange about some of the time differences. You might be able to walk up at 1 and see what happens for just lil' ole' you Maybe if you go to the lounge at 1 and have a couple of those dragons they'll bring you a menu!

Boy isn't that the truth, I think I'm with the pp who said that the mint part didn't really go with it. I'm not big on mint, but I'm willing to try it, if turns out to be yucky I'll send it back and ask for it without the mint. I've never had mint alcohol before. Hmm!

I think it hadn't kicked in yet to everyone else that it had gone back to the 180 day mark when we made our ADR's. I was so stunned we got what we wanted I think I sung and danced around the house for three days! We got all but a couple of times exactly for what we asked for, the times we didn't get were only by a few minutes, not an hour. Wow! It must be all the free food at the time your going that caused this, I would keep trying back to see what you can get Leisa.

You might be right!! I wish I could find the bar menus. I need to poke around a bit further in Allears. I never could drink prices anywhere. I mean I found a few, but not everything.

Believe it or not...this actually sounds good. I don't like mint when it's fake, but real mint doesn't do me the wrong way. Like the mint that's in tabouli....LOVE IT! I loooove tabouli go figure. Reminds me...I want to go out to eat Greek food on my birthday. Sorry! I digress...But strong mint flavoring in things like gum, or candi actually makes me sick to my stomach and or gives me a headache that beats all other headaches. Go figure on that one! Mint is a remedy for stomach aches, so I can't figure that one out.

Saddle up Partners!! We're gonna do some Western-style soldiering at the most Wildernessy of Forts. I don't know where the Trail's actually going to end, or what we'll encounter on it, and I highly doubt it'll be campfire style whatsoever, but the ranchy (as opposed to raunchy) decor ought to lend some imagintive imepetus anyway to our quest for good grub.

Wow, Rose and Crown was strange? Another difficult to get one person ADR.

My new guess is once again: A (on time). And yes, I am still following my super secret strategy! even though I am not so sure of it anymore. But I guess I will just stick with it.

I can understand that even with the cheaper DHL it is still a lot of money to pay for two days in Germany. Also, in a way it might be nice to have a small break in the transition from Central Asia to North America, but on the other hand you might not be able to enjoy it that much and feel like you really rather need to move on to your final destination?

Here's what we're thinking. Glenn suggested maybe for those who want to spend more than just dinner in the area, we have people park by a Metro stop, ride in together to a Memorial or such, hang out, Metro back and meet up with the dinner folks and go somewhere.

I talked to my sis, who lives in McLean, and she had some specific thoughts on this and some fantastic sounding suggestions.

I think it will be very kid friendly. Piper is very welcome to come along. I imagine there will be a lot of yacking, yummy food, and plenty of Disney talk. I can't say that there will be NO drinks, but none of us here are too rowdy.

My guess for Trails End is earlier!

As for the ADR troubles, it seems like it is much harder to get ADR's for 1-2 people than it is for 3+. Most restaurants don't have very many 2 person tables. I don't want to start any great debate but I did have a very nice CM point out to me that if I couldn't get an ADR at all or if I wanted a different time to add one to my group. I don't understand the logic of their stupid system but it worked like a charm. I couldn't get an ADR for a group of 5 but could for a group of 6 - I don't know about you guys but I don't ever recall seeing a 5 person table so we were going to take the same table size with 5 or 6 but they could not find a time for a group of 5 but could for 6.

Just my two cents for you in your ADR combat/tweaking phase.
