Cruise Day/Night 2:
Woke up, to see the Port of Nassau out my window. We grabbed a quick bite to eat at Beach Blanket Buffet and had some time to kill before out excursion headed out. We headed down to Diversions and played a round of Jenga using really large wooden blocks.
When it was time we checked in for our excursion over to Atlantis and followed our paddle of power to the port and to our bus.
Nassau
Atlantis was pretty, and I loved the whole mythos of the dig site for the aquariums. Not sure that just the aquarium tour was worth the $55, as we have a larger aquarium here in Atlanta, but again I really enjoyed the architecture and the mythos. We gambled briefly, and I went on the great bathroom hunt as it seemed they had every mens room closed at the same time for cleaning. As it was getting time to be lunch we headed back to the ship as the prices on Paradise Island can be expensive.
Before we reboarded the ship we headed down to the straw market to show Daniel what it was like, and I got a rum cake at Tortugas. We boarded the ship, changed into our bathing suits, grabbed a quick bite to eat on Deck 9, and then headed to the Adult pool.
After hanging out at the pool for a bit we changed and headed back down to play some bingo, and some board games in Diversions (plus Diversions had nachos, hot dogs, hotwings with ranch dressing, and olives). Oh and at least I had several drinks of the day
Dinner this night was at Parrot Cay. I have to say that this time my meal was better than the first time I ate at this restaurant back in November. As usual our waiter was slow and we didnt have dessert before the limbo began. As it was Pirate night as the buffets was going on later we opted out of dessert.
We relaxed in the room for a bit and then headed up to see the Fireworks and sample the buffet
