An elf, a suprise and a Christmas Do-over....Our Dec. 2010 PTR

Okay...I cannot believe that we will be leaving for Disney in 60 days!!!

I am so excited. The time is flying by...and I think will continue to do so with Halloween approaching and also Tyler will be coming home next month! We are planning a party when he is home and also Thanksgiving!

Oh and we will be having Payton's 10th Birthday party the weekend before our trip. We are having a Twilight party. Does anyone out there have any good suggestions for this?

If you like any of the ideas just ask and I'll be happy to point you to where I got the idea from. I even have the graphics and things I used still, so I would be happy to share those if you want any! For her party, since she was so into the books as well as the movies I tried to incorporate an element from all of the covers of the book into the party. And of course, had a black/red/white theme. Have fun!!

I am also paid off! We also switched our flights so we can get to Disney a little earlier in the day (was also a little bit cheaper so yay for refunds, still no discount on jet blue though).

Oh gift wrapping parties! I am so ready for Christmas, but my boss is making me wait til November 1 until I can start playing Christmas music at work! I think I have almost every Christmas movie ever made!

I love Christmas movies too, but I try and put them away with our Christmas decorations so that it is like having new movies when Thanksgiving comes around and we pull the movies out. A few do manage to stay out all year though!! I think tht my kids could watch The Grinch over and over.

Payton was just saying today that she hopes that Santa send Patches back this year.

I would love for you to share anything that you think would help for the party. Of course the colors will be red, white and black. I have decided to borrow my sister in law's chocolate fountain, and plan on suprising Payton and friends with a candy buffet...of course in the colors.

I am on pins and needles about the mischeif that one little elf will get into. He sure is alot of fun though!

I can't believe that six weeks from now we will have our spot staked out and will be waiting for my favorite, Illuminations!! Time is flying by.

It is getting chilly around here too! I'm not quite ready.

I'll be posting pictures of Patches so it should be alot of fun, I am just trying to figure out what clues to give when.

I STILL haven't got them yet!!! I'm so freaking out here!!! Disney told me that they were prints and being sent last Thursday! I give it to weeks end then I'm calling! At that point we will 4 weeks out exactly!

Hi Trish! Just found your PTR last night and I'm all caught up now. Your kids are Adorable. Caleb looks like a little cherub with his blond curls and Payton is too sweet with her comment about DVC. I am totally on board and can't wait to see what kind of mischief Patches will get into. I love all the surprises! It sounds like fun and I love that you and your mom are so into it! I hope PAtches get to go into the parks with you. It would be funny is patches had a Trip Report of his own. Would you mind if I have Patches Facebook info. I would love to follow his antics.

Evidently Payton sent a letter to Santa a few days that I did not know about asking him if he could send Patches back this year. Well when she go up this morning to this site, she literally almost cried and said "Santa must have gotten my letter"!

Here is a picture of her holding him, which she did most of the day today.

Caleb was very excited about the new puzzle that Patches brought for him and told everyone about it all day! Patches is delivering a clue each day and today Caleb got a "dinosour" puzzle and she got a "lion" puzzle.

Patches also dug out alot of our Christmas movies so today ended up being pretty much of a Christmas movie marathon.

I can't wait to see what he has in store!

LOVE that he brought out the Christmas movies - we have a family movie night each weekend and starting in November we start watching our most loved Christmas movies - so this weekend we watched our first - Christmas with the Kranks! LOVE that movie - it really got me into the Christmas spirit Can't wait to see more of Patches!

Christmas with the Kranks is great!! I love Christmas movies and can't help but to buy them. I am looking to add Christmas Carol this year.
