An elf, a suprise and a Christmas Do-over....Our Dec. 2010 PTR

And YAY for Le Cellier!! We ate there last Friday night in celebration of my parent's 39th wedding anniversary!! It was our first time eating there and we LOVED it!! Eating there again in Dec!!

Thanks Becky!! I could make a meal out of the cheese soup and pretzel bread. mmmmmmm I am so excited to go back!!

I hope that you hear good news soon about those BBB pictures. I would be crushed.

:welcome!!! Yeah! another reader!! Reading each others trip reports will certainly make the time go faster! I can't wait to start the fun we are going to have with the elf.

I have a change to report today. It looks like we are going to go to MVMCP on the 9th so I needed to tweak my days a bit, but we are still planning on MK on the 6th!!

Hi Trish, I followed you over from my PTR. Holy cow! You have such an imagination, the reveal and the elf is just an amazing idea. I serioulsy can't wait to read your TR when it's all said and done. I can feel your excitement as I read. I am definitely subbing this.

Hi! I'm all caught up!

We went during POP Warner last year and weren't affected by them, at all. I don't remember ever seeing them in the parks, and even though we were at a value (POP), we never had any run-ins either. I've heard that they are typically at the values and either CSR/CBR, so I think you'll be good to go!

Great ADRs! We love CP and TH breakfast! Last December was our first time at TH and I think it is definitely one of my favorites now!

I got up this morning and made the ADR for our last day. Mom also wanted to have lunch at CP so I went ahead and make that one. That is her favorite restaraunt and she has been so great with the planning, I figured...what the heck...we can eat there twice this trip...afterall...I've never eaten there.

In only have one more ADR to go and can't make that one until Monday morning. I am going try and get the Fantasmic package at Mama Melrose for the 11th. Wish me luck!!

Coming up soon....I will be sharing what some of the clues are that we have for the kids so far. We have been pretty creative....I think. [/COLOR]

Hi Dana! to my PTR!! We plan on having lots of the fun with the elf, and I know what you mean about dreaming about Christmas! I'm doing the same thing!

AKL is my favorite resort!! If they could have reasonably accommodated 5, that is where I would have stayed.

I'm so jealous of all of you that are staying at AKL!! That is my favorite resort. Unfortunately, it is very expensive for a family of 5 to stay there.

Have a great time and stop and enjoy everything that the resort has to offer!!

Hey Trish!!! I am so planning on taking sometime to enjoy all the AKL has to offer!!! This is the first time staying at a deluxe resort for me and I KNOW I am going to get spoiled!!! We are hoping to take a mid afternoon flight out of Philly so that would put us in Orlando around dinner time, we were definitely planning on staying at the resort that day and taking in our surroundings!!! Plus with the parks closing earlier this time of year we will have the opportunity to send most of our evening there!!! I am so hoping for a room location close to the lobby (which I requested) and really hope its warm enough for the boys to be able to enjoy that awesome pool!!!

You are going to LOVE AKL!! Take a moment when you first walk in and enjoy that wonderful aroma in the lobby!! Once you stay there you will understand what I am talking about!! The zero entry pool is awesome too!!

I sure hope it is warm enough to enjoy that awesome pool!!! I have to be honest, I think I am most looking forward to relaxing by the fire pit at night with a drink in hand!!!

I just want to enjoy my morning coffee on the balcony. Hopefully the kids can use the pool. Being from WI, as long as its above 50, I'm sure the kids will be but I need 70. Hey Dana!!! this is our 1st time staying at AKL too, but I been doing my research... First off, even thou Devon doesn't know we are going he knows all about the night vision goggles and thinks it's the coolest thing! So I am sure we will be experiencing that as well!!! I sure hope it is warm to swim too! The pool looks amazing and I know Dev will want to go on the slide! Coffee on the balcony sounds absolutely wonderful right now! I'm looking forward to relaxing by the firepit!

As far as kids activities at the resort... YES there are a ton, but they change often. They say the best thing to do is, upon check in ask the cast member for an activity schedule for the week.
