Hi All,

Hubby and I are tossing around the idea of a ridiculously last minute long weekend trip. Last minute as in booking 5ish weeks before going. Assuming there's still rooms and flights available, I wanted to eat mostly if not all QS. We're really TS people and haven't had a chance to try many of the QS spots so I thought it would be a good chance to test them out! We'd be going during the Flower Garden festival so at least one "meal" would be there, but what other QS places should we hit? We're especially looking for spots in the parks since we're planning some pretty long days.

A few on my mind:
Pecos Bill
Katsura Grill
Capt. Cook's (not a park but I keep hearing great things about it)

Other must try's?

Thank you!! :D

Yorkshire Fish Shoppe (UK @ EPCOT)
Les Halle's Boulangere & Patisserie (France @ EPCOT) Taste Track (gourmet grilled cheese), Sunshine Seasons - (The Land - EPCOT)

Wolfgang Puck Cafe and Earl of Sandwich at Disney Springs

ABC Commisary at the Studios

BOG is Quick service at both Breakfast & Lunch (but requires an ADR)

Definitely Wolfgang Puck Express in Marketplace @ Disney Springs. So good:-)
BOG at Magic Kingdom - make an ADR! Enjoyed both breakfast and lunch, but lunch is especially delicious.
I think that these 2 quick services are more like table services and a step above other QS places.

Thanks for the ideas! I remember going to Wolfgang when I was a kid and it wasn't a great memory lol but maybe we'll give it another shot (15 years later haha).
We love BOG I just didn't think we could get a res for it at the 5 week point (we did walk up once last year though and got a spot so maybe lightning could strike twice).
Taste Track sounds great, doesn't look like they could make me a gluten free sandwich but hubby would probably love it!

my husband and i did a quick trip in december for 4 days --because we were so late in deciding to go, there were not many table service reservations available. we decided to do all QS and see how that was --and we actually enjoyed it! there is a certain freedom in not having reservations and the QS never had major waits. i can recommend: contempo cafe at CR, gasparilla grill at GF, katsura grill in japan, tangierine in morocco, kringla in norway, territory lounge at WL, wolfgang puck express and earl of sandwich - both at Disney Springs, cooks at poly, columbia harbor house in MK...we did break down and eat TS at
saana at AK lodge. all in all, QS was pretty good but you do want to have something besides a sandwich --there were usually several choices and salads available. we ate breakfast in the room --but lunch and dinner out. it was reasonably priced and we certainly saved money over our usual meal bills!

MK: Pecos Bills and Tortuga Tavern (if its open) both have newer menus. Cosmic Rays has a great chicken or chicken/rib combo at dinner. BOG lunch. CHH.

EPCOT: has an embarrassment of good options, depending on what your taste buds are wanting that day.

AK: Flame Tree BBQ, Yak & Yeti CS counter, Harambe Market

DHS: we like the huge sandwiches at Starring Rolls. Also ABC Commissary and Studio Catering.

Tangierine Cafe in Epcot is my favorite, by far.

Also like Columbia Harbor House (MK), the QS in France, BOG, Earl of Sandwich. A couple margaritas and a shared plate of nachos at La Cantina in Mexico while sitting by the water is a nice lunch.

You're not going to starve. There are so many excellent options! Have a great time!

We just got back from a week long sanity break that I booked thru a Cyber Monday sale via Travelocity and we made 3 ADR's which i played around with right up till actually sitting in bed in the Dolphin. I was able to get lunch at BOG for 1:20 at the 3 week mark ... I just kept checking whenever i thought about it until i was able to snag a spot for 2 at a decent time. You can also get an ADR for 1 and then call and have them bump to 2 people. We LOVED that meal ... shared one sammie/fries, drink & cupcake and that left room for more snacks later! The only TS we booked were for our arrival day Breakie and departure day. The rest of the trip was QS and we never had any trouble finding food that we liked -- not ONE burger or chicken strip!!

We're doing all QS on our Easter trip (doing QSDP). This is our first time at WDW in 17 years, so I have no suggestions, but the places I definitely want to try are:
BOG (we have a breakfast ADR)
Tangierine Cafe in EPCOT (Morocco)
Sunshine Seasons in EPCOT
Wolfgang Puck Express at Disney Springs
Flame Tree BBQ or Yak & Yeti (QS) in Animal Kingdom
And though it's not usually mentioned, for whatever reason I really want to eat at Casey's Corner in the MK.

Wow, thank you everyone! There's a couple that I had in the back of my mind and a couple here I wouldn't have thought to try! Columbia Harbour House and Pecos Bill definitely have to be on the list from the looks of their menu and I've been thinking of trying Yak & Yeti for a while so maybe we'll do that too. I'm not a big meat eater but it seems like hubby would like Tangerine Cafe although the nachos and margaritas by the water sounds amazing too. I love sushi so Starring Rolls or Katsura Grill might be great for us too.
Thanks again everyone! :)
