An After Quest Idea....

We all saw the struggle of our dis friends and vmk friends trying to complete this quest. I know it took our team many many long hours. And we all felt so helpless when our friends didnt complete it.

So heres a thought. Why dont we all use our treasure detector magic each hour, and pass the prizes on to those friends. I used mine today and got dream ears. So I for one will be putting these items in a kiosk that others can come get for just a simple smile.

Anyone else with me?

Great idea Rob. I will be giving away the items I get with treasure detector magic too. I gave the minnie hat I got from the quest away already to a good friend who stuck with us in pirates for two long nights and she wasnt even doing the quest and expected nothing for all her time and effort. Woot VMK and DIS friends really are the most magical part of all this.

I'm in! I can't give away EVERYTHING, because I've already promised my son that he would end up with the lion's share of whatever i get with TDM. But I will do what I can! Probably not with a quest kiosk, though. I'll just give randomly and whenever.

i traded my rare to get my daughter a pair of dream ears, and to see that you aim to GIVE 10 away makes my heart happy. may somebody surprise you with a rare item for your kindness, and to all that are sharing, again, may somebody make your day as well I AM IMPRESSED!!

Great idea to give things away, but it won't ease the pain for someone who could not complete this quest. You are just giving away stuff you don't want. Anyone besides vmkfan13 give away a prize from the actual quest?

I was thinking of what to do with the magic, and I think it is the best thing I could do with people who did not manage to end the quest is to share with them the things I will get and create a quest too (I think I will keep track of the prizes I got in the order and put them in the quest in the same order) but for now, the friends I wanted to help and did not manage to end are the first to whom I want to share with them the prizes from TDM if they want to of course.

Okay just a thought, but I doubt anyone will do this. I'm wondering how many out there already have more than one Minnie now since winning the quest and how nice it would be if they would give away or give a great deal to another DISer who was not able to complete the quest and get a Minnie. I know I mainly attempted the quest because my young daughter wanted Minnie and has been asking me to try and get it for her for a long while but unfortunately I disappointed and couldn't finish the quest. I'm sure I'm not the only one out there that has a disappointed child. This quest was insanely brutal. I know she would be so ecstatic to have the opportunity to receive one or to at least be able to trade reasonably. Otherwise I know people will be asking for an arm and leg for Minnie and my daughter doesn't have an arm and a leg to even offer.

I already vowed to give away my treasures too,. I will not trade anything I get in full use especially dream ears. But i went one step further. One of the younger people on my list was 4 tasks away from finish. She was so bumbed. I asked her what she really really wanted about the quest besides credits. She said Princess Minnie Hat and the treasure box. I really wanted the minnie ears and have no spares but I dont care about the box so I gave her that. I also gave her my third Pink tiki I manage to trade for not to long ago and I asked her to try and trade to get minni ears. Im hoping she does it.

Did I really want the box? Yea sort of but I felt so bad she was so close so Im happy to have heleped her.

what a great thing you did. Good feeling to be able to give someone something they've dreamed of.

I hope that ppl find it in their hearts to give away the items they get with their TDM.....friends or even ppl you just meet. If you were lucky enough to finish quest use your magic hourly and turn to the person next to you and shout HEY ANYONE NEED ____________. Not that the magic gives you much. So far Im like 1 out of 10.

But anyway, my idea was to make a second quest for blackheart's treasure. This time VMKers learn there is a second treasure. The prizes will TDM prizes, and I won't end quest in noon

Also Pirates score is only like 200 (I might rise that)..
