So here is our plan for our upcoming trip to WDW. We are jumping from SSR, to BLT (for 1 night), then off to AKV for the remainder. We had to do this because of the short notice. We were looking at resales and found one with banked pts that had to be used by Dec 1 that was a good deal. So it's not optimal but it will work. We jumped from AKV to BWV last summer renting pts. Also, we will have a car so that will help.

Feel free to comment on the agenda. We will be uploading pictures and reports throughout the trip. Looking forward to catching the end of F&W and the beginning of the Christmas festivities. The LC lunch on Friday was cancelled after we got the dinner on Thursday. So was the Coral Reef dinner on Friday.

You need to have more travel time between resorts. Thirty minutes almost never happens. Le cellier is in epcot not hs and you have no travel time scheduled to get from hs to epcot. Honestly it looks like you will spend a lot of time traveling. You may want to simplify.

Eta sorry jut saw your note re le cellier

You are on vacation, right. :confused3 :goodvibes

You remind me of me several years ago, I would publish a master book with wallet cards for each Guest.

Those days are long gone. Now we relax and go into the parks when the attendance is low and only eat at Disney restaurants a couple of times per trip. During one of our trips last year we only made it into a park for 3 hours out of 10 days.

Have a wonderful vacation.

Funny you should say that. This is relaxed for me. Last year's trip there was no "open". Having anything not scheduled is a big step.

As far as the travel times from the other poster, it is not exact but I don't think it takes that long with a rental car. We had one last year during August (much larger crowds) and it didn't take us nearly as long as we thought it would to get from place to place.

Looks good - all the moves could be draining...but you will make the most of it! The important thing is you're there and you got to use your banked points!

I like your itinerary - looks like the one I do except I stopped putting park time on the itinerary...I finally realized that deciding which park to visit when is too fluid to pre-plan with our group!

Good luck! Enjoy!

You made me smile as I visualize you "jumping" like a Jumping Jack.
We generally call it Resort Hopping, not jumping, so it was a different visual

Day 1 went pretty good. Started off at the F&W. Our first stop was Ireland.

Fisherman's Pie

This was delicious. Definitely lived up to the hype. Surprisingly filling given the size. After that we stopped at Hops and Barley. We had our hands full so no pictures. We got one of everything. This did not live up to the hype. Nothing was bad, but it wasn't that good either. The pumpkin mousse was the star of the 3 items. Then it was off to MK for the EP and Wishes.

On a side note, Christmas has definitely arrived at WDW. They are pumping in Christmas music and this is Main St.

People definitely like to get their spots for EP. We got to MK at 730pm and there were a good bit of people posted up already. We ended up in Liberty Sq.

This is the first time I have actually watched the EP. Is this normal or a Veteran's day thing? The parade was nice except for 1 really out of control kid. After the parade ended we hightailed it to Tomorrowland to watch Wishes. I think right past the gateway to Tomorrowland is an excellent place to watch them.

We ended up not staying for EMH because we were both exhausted from travel. Back to SSR. Better than BWV but not as good as AKV in our opinion. Only real problem was the pillows. We both woke up with a headache.

Off to Epcot and HS today.

Yes, the Electrical Parade has always ended (each time we've seen it) with the patriotic ending. It was not something special for Veteran's Day.

Hope you continue to have fun. Thanks for posting and sharing pictures.
