Amy's (Non-Disney) Designs - Part II

Hi Amy! You had made a Barney design for my daughter a few days ago (as well as her name and your new Build-a-Bear design). I just wanted to tell you that I made her shirts today and when she saw the Barney shirt she was so excited. She has autism and is only learning how to use words but she kept jumping up and down and saying "Barney! Barney!" It literally brought tears to my eyes. So I wanted you to know that you made a huge impact on our family. Katie hasn't taken the shirt off, she keeps rubbing her belly and smiling. In fact she's wearing the shirt to bed - I tried to put her pajamas on and she kept shaking her head No saying "Barney". Thank you seems like such small words, but they are heartfelt. Not only are you incredibly talented, but you make people happy and that in itself is a gift.

This made my night last night when I came home and read this! It is in times like these that spending countless hours on designing makes it all worthwhile. I was almost in tears just reading this! Thank you so much for sharing this story with me and do not hesitate to ask if you need anything else.

These are great. Just out of curiousity, do you not like to do Disney, or is it a legal issue for you? It truly is none of my business, just curious.

BTW...I ordered some iron on transfer paper tonight....I'm really excited!

I was hoping you could do me a favor and add some words to this picture.

I would love it to say 2009-2010 Planner somewhere on it. It doesn't have to be huge. I was thinking maybe up top in the open space, but really wherever you think is good. You did one for me last year and I loved it! The final size needs to be 5.5x8.5".

Here is the one you requested and a bonus design...

AMY thank you so much!!! They are BOTH amazing! The bonus one made my DD3 (Abby) jump up and down and she screamed "There's FUNSHIP FREDDY!!" haha (I've been showing them lots of pix of him in hopes that he won't freak them out when they see him in real life - he is a bit creepy looking! LOL) ANyhow, that made my day to see that one!

Can I ask a huge favor with the 2nd (bonus) design? Can you use that same design but do one with the wording:

And then another one:
Fun in the Caribbean
Carnival Liberty 2010

I think my family would all enjoy having the same pix but the girls wording would just be a bit different. THANK you again, so much!!!!

Hi again - I have another request when you have time....

Can you make one with a My Little Pony design (her fave one is Pinkie Pie but if you can fit more than one on there, great! She likes the purple one, too) If you can make the shape a heart and up on one of the top sides, her name Abby. (I don't want too huge - I get nervous about "strangers" knowing her name but if it's not too bold or large, then I'm ok with it and I know she'd love having it personalized!)

And one more with a Dora design (if you can include Boots and any of the other characters, she loves them all!) Again if you can make it the shape of a heart and up on on one of the top sides, her name Juliana. I want them to have "matching" shirts but just different characters - if that makes sense.

Both of them would be on a fushia colored top and I plan to use the transfer paper from you so whatever works best for that.

Wow, I totally agree with you. It's not worth the legality. I wonder why they don't bother anyone here. Well, I can't wait for the paper.

Hi Amy - I just wanted to say another THANK YOU for rescueing me quick this week! Our shirts turned out wonderful!! They were a huge hit at the race track (the other two families designed their own - and I will just leave it at that! LOL) Even the other two girls were commenting on how good OUR shirts were. Jennfier walked with us proudly!!
The crew is still filming today, so hopefully I can send pictures tomorrow.

BTW - One of the camera crew came over and took close-up shots of just our shirts front and back - it was my one chance to be a model lol- he was zoomed in on just the design!! Hopefully in the many hours of footage that they took of us yesterday, they will show your design somewhere in the show!! I will keep in touch and let you know when it airs.

I would love to see pictures and be sure to let me know when it airs - I would love to watch. How did your daughter do? or are you not allowed to say anything until it airs? How exciting!
