Amway Center?

I've posted on the transportation board, too, but thought that those of you who frequent Orlando, that is not Disney, might know, too.

My young adult daughters are going to Disney in May for the first time as "adults" without Mom and Dad, staying at All Star Music. The younger girl's all time favourite singer is at the Amway Center the week that they are there, so they have tickets. The question is how to get from Disney (even DTD) to/from Amway Center safely. They don't drive, so renting a car for them is not feasible. Other than the Lynx (which they HAVE looked into ), what are their options? Thanks for any suggestions!

I'd suggest that they take a taxi. It would be the safest and easiest way, though it would also be expensive. I'd guess that it would be close to $60 one-way before the tip.

At a guess I'd say they won't be the only ones staying at Disney and going to the concert - maybe if they post on this acts message board for someone to split transportation costs with?

The Amway center and downtown disney are about 30 mins apart. Thats if traffic on I-4 is good. The safest bet for them would be a cab. The lynx bus system makes a lot of stops from disney to the amway center. Also they might have to change a couple of busses. Taxi is the way to go!. I hope they have fun at the concert.. the Amway Center is really nice!
