Amtrack RUNNING SLOW NOW, NE due to earthquake in VA

The tracks, tunnels and bridges have to be checked. Mainly coming into Baltimore, DC and larger cities in NE coridor.

Felt it all the north in the I-81 Pocono area.

20 seconds worth of shaking made it SW here to Greensboro, NC

Penn State geologist said the very hard old crust of the N.E. dipurses the energy across a long distance. I will take a bit of swaying to keep families south safe anyday now that I know why I felt it up here.


Update that Union station now appears open and some trains from Baltimore are moving at 15 mph.
