Amount of points that can be purchased?

Probably a really silly question, but if you needed say 107 points, can you purchase exactly this, or do you have to round up to certain numbers?

as long as you are above the minimum, you can buy whatever you want - like 107 pts.

just remember that point reallocations may change the exact pt cost of your preferred vacations in the future. it's generally recommended to add a small buffer...maybe at least round up...

it varies.

i'd suspect the limits would be the same, but you'd have to check with a guide.

Not necessarily. I was talking with a DVC rep about getting 100 at BLT or BCV, so you can always ask for less and see what happens.

From what I have read on here there is no longer an official 160 point minimum purchase. Add ons are a 25 point minimum and new contracts have a 50 point minimum. I haven't seen that advertised directly from Disney, but quite a few reputable posters on here have said it.

You have to be careful when you buy the exact number of points.

I bought a 51 point add on at VGC, intending to have a 3 night stay in a studio, every year when the points were 17 points per night. DVC had a point change and now I have to change my plans!

What is now 107 points might change in the future.
