We will be staying here mid november, I was wondering about the resort,
anyone ever been? Also the shuttles to the park? Are they worth it to save on parking? Or are there other stops in between? we only have 4 days so we have to make the most of our time. We will have a rentacar, so we can park at the park if we wish.
thanks for any info!

Sorry, I can't help but please post your reviews of the hotel when you return from your trip. I was looking into it for April as we have had to trim down our budget!

Good luck and have a great trip!

Have not stayed here but know where it is I think. It's pretty close to World Drive near the Old Lake Wilson Rd intersection if it's the place I'm thinking of. If you have a car, go ahead and use it since you only have 4 days. Most offsite shuttles run maybe 2-3 times in the AM and 2-3 times in the PM. It's definitely worth the $10/day for the convenience.

We are staying there on December 31 and would like any information you can give when you get back or info from anybody else. Thanks.

We stayed there back in December 2002 when it was still the Amerihost. They have a great pool area with a couple of hot tubs. Our room was pretty nice with updated decor...comparable to a cheaper Best Western or Holiday Inn. Don't go thinking you are staying 5 star.

The only major complaint, and it may prevent me from returning, was that you can't open the windows for any fresh air. They spray air freshener to mask odors and the hallways and rooms reeked of it. I really hope this has changed because to location is pretty good and it's easy to get to and lots of parking.

We stayed at the Amerihost on Orlo Bronson one night 2 years ago. The rooms surround an inner courtyard that houses the indoor pool, restaurants and bars. Our only complaint was that our room was one of the inner ones that looked out upon this courtyard. We were on the 2nd or 3rd floor and at night they had a kareoke (?sp) which we could hear as if we were sitting in the audience. It went on until 11 pm. Now if it is the same motel and it has changed ownership they may not have any shows in the courtyard, but I would enquire and if there is ask for an outside room. Other than that we didn't see or smell anything out of the ordinary. It was by no means a 5* resort but for the price we paid ($35) we had no other complaints. Another place to check reviews is TripAdvisor.

We stayed here about 2 years ago. We stayed one night at the LaQuinta and it was the worst stay ever so we quickly left and had to find somewhere to stay.

I drove up to the Amerihost and went inside It was early in the morning and the girl was so nice and checked me in right away (super early check-in) (10:00 am)

We stayed in an inner room and the Karaoke was quite loud so they moved us to a Kid's Suite for the same price ($35) with no argument

They have an indoor and outdoor pool, Huge Games Room, Hottob, Fitness room, restaruant food court and a buffet breakfast in the morning (Was free when we stayed there)

I was told they have now renovated it so that you cannot hear the Karaoke even on the inside rooms

It is not a 5 star but we loved this hotel all the same. My daughter will never forget out stay there. They even have a special section in the restaurant just for kids

I would definately recommend it!
