American Idol

Anyone else having AI withdrawal? I really find myself missing that show and wanting the next season to start.

I read where Simon Cowell has signed on for 3 more seasons. I like him -- he usually shoot pretty straight with his comments, although he can be very caustic (but isn't that why we watch? lol).

Meantime, I'm watching American Idol Junior (on tonight) and pulling for the Thompson sisters. One is in already and I'm sure the little one will get in too. They're both very good.

Canadian Idol just started here a few weeks ago. The first group of 10 had their elimination show tonight.

I don't like Simon anymore. Not after all he does to try to "ruin" Clay.

But I do miss seeing OBC every Tuesday and Wednesday!

Anyone going to the Tampa, FL concert? I am meeting up with fellow Claymates! I can't wait!!

We're going tonight to the AI show!! I can't wait to see Clay!! DD 7 is a huge Kimberly Caldwell fan!! We're very excited!! The kids (dd7 & ds6) LOVE American Juniors!!

I should clarify -- when I said I missed AI, I miss the SHOW, not necessarily the contestants from the last season. I LOVED Clay, and I'm not going to the concert here in Tampa.

I really miss the competition itself and seeing new contestants. And you couldn't pay ME to go and see Kimberly Caldwell - lol.

I miss the show being on every week, but I don't think I'll watch the next show. I was too upset with the way I felt the results were dishonestly skewed and I don't want to be sucked in for another round.

I like Taylor Thompson who has already made the group but I'm not sure about Tori. I also like Chauncy (#4 last night) and the girl who followed him, Chantel?. I like her voice but didn't care for the song choice she sang. I also like AJ and the last girl that sang.

The blond that is real perky would be a good group member but her voice is not very strong.

I've been thinking about the concert, but the closest venue is Birmingham, and I'm afraid of being a Claymate in Ruben's hometown.

I know of a couple people who are BIG Clay fans who live in Alabama so I don't think you'll be alone!! But I can understand!!! lol. I'm going to a concert with a Ruben fan that COMPLETELY HATES Clay!!!And Clay is my favorite!! Am I crazy or what?! I'm afraid to go with her!!!

I wouldn't be too surprised if Clay's crowd is stronger even in Birmingham...unless you are surrounded by Studdard's relatives!
