I grew UP on those Songs! Bet you do not know who Originally SANG those SONGS!! I DO! I agree with the vote...RJ should have been gone a loooonnnnggg time ago! I know for a fact...A woman will win!

Are you talking about the Bacharach tunes? I know Dionne Warwick had a hit with Walk On By. Dusty Springfield had the big hit of The Look of Love......now of course Diana Krall has revived that tune. A House Is Not a Home was recorded by many artists. I forgot what the other song was.

Nikki had to have gotten some type of sympathy vote since Simon made her son cry. She should have been gone. I know RJ isn't that great but he did WAY better than her.

And I loved the medley of songs!!!!!

I agree with Miss Jasmine - Nikki got the sympathy vote because they trotted her kid out for America to see. Awwwww, how cute!
Give me a break - I knew it would be between RJ and Nikki, so I guess next week we'll be saying goodbye to Nikki. The final two will be Kelly and Tamyra. Justin (and his Sideshow Bob impression) has now become a novelty act and we're bored with it. I suppose he'll take his act on to Vegas and make the old ladies in the audience giggle and coo. Blecchh!
I'm glad Kelly has found a new hairstylist, though, 'cause I was beginning to get worried. Her natural, unforced style of blowing the audience away with her voice shouldn't be marred by a bad hairdo.
Simon is my new virtual boyfriend..... he's not "yum" but there's something special about him....

Nikki has a stylistic edge that is really hot right now. Look at Pink, Gwen Stefani, ... people get on the phone and vote for the underdog, especially when she represents the counterculture.

RJ could have a *huge* future in Christian music.

I saw that suggestion in Entertainment Weekly too Dana and I thought that would be perfect for RJ. He has a "nice" voice and he's likable enough. I thought he'd be around for one more week because he sang well for him and Nikki just tanked. She does have a look though.

She doesn't stand a chance against Tamyra or Kelly though. Those two have the pipes.

RJ has never been one of my faves, but he certainly didn't deserve to be knocked off this week. Nikki was awful!!! It was painful to listen to her. Her little guy is cute, but that won't save her next week.

I've been pulling for Kelly, but Tamyra is just so amazing! I honestly think that all of these kids will get a "shot" with some record companies. They have good looks, decent voices and their own style.

Well I'm glad RJ is out, but he really should've been kicked off last week. Nikki is so lucky, but she really blew her performance. YUCK!
