American Idol Top 20 Season 9

God forgive me for saying this but I just can't stand Kara DioGuardi. She seems like such a sweet person but she totally turned me off when she was drooling over Casey (the blonde guy with the long hair). Kara just got married last year and now she's acting like a loon. I stopped watching AI becuase of her and Simon. Simon is just a loser. His criticisms are just way off, for me. He's mean for the sake of being mean.

i can't stand Kara, either. it all stemmed from last season and "bikini girl" and how horrible she treated because of how jealous she was. i'm not saying bikini girl was the nicest person on earth, or the best singer, but she didn't even say anything to Kara for her to start saying things like that, she only got mouthy once Kara started getting nasty towards her. and from then on it's just gone downhill, i can't stand her. even her voice gets on my nerves!

I just hope it doesn't end up one time when Simon like the performer and Randy and Ellen don't and she uses that "I agree with the guys phrase.

Last year all she said was"You know what I like about You"

I really thought she was going to write it as the Fianally song.

oooh Sorry I hit a nerver for you. I just meant that Ellen seems very comfortable in her lifestyle choices and fashion choices which tend to be very masculine. I do not see a side of Ellen that is feminine in the traditional sense of the word feminie (you know, wearing dresses and makeup and glitzy jewelery). She seems very comfortable and I don't think she would have a problem being called "guys". She has a great sense of humor about herself. Loved her comment last night about Casey.

My comment wasn't to insult Ellen because I truly think she wouldn't have a problem with it. Sorry you feel she would.

well....i don't generally wear skirts or dresses a whole lot, i'm much more comfortable in pants/jeans and t-shirts and my hair is on the shorter side(not as short as hers, it's down to my shoulders, but still it's "shorter")....that doesn't mean i'm "masculine". i'm just more comfortable like that. and yes, i would DEFINATLY mind if someone called me a "guy" or a "man".

I always refer to groups of people as "guys" (and I'm from the y'all nation ), but I do find it a little odd when she refers to 2 people as guys - when one of them is a girl. Ellen doesn't seem to mind. I think if it bugged her she'd make a joke out of it and call Kara a guy, too.

What do you mean they were safe? Were they actually in the green? I don't know that I have seen anyone in the green the last couple weeks. This week everyone is yellow and within the margin of error they have. So really, anyone could go.

People must be REALLY apathetic this year and there just aren't enough busy signals to measure. I have never seen a list where at least some of the list isn't considered safe.

I actually voted a few times last night (for several people) and NEVER got a busy signal. That has never happened for me before.

I think there was one green all season. It's pitiful.

I got used to being referred to as "one of the guys". Usually I was the lone or rare female in a group.... And I do dress sorta like Ellen, more "guy-like" than feminine.
