g'night everyone.

Lilly butchers one of my fave songs last night and Mike butchered my FAVORITE song tonight.

I'm so OVER this season. Nothing to look forward to.

LOVE IT...especially with your pretty wedding picture right there!

Haha don't tell my husband I said that. Actually, I think if he knew Adam was around that night, he'd expect me to ditch the wedding for him.

He needs his butt kicked for doing that and these fools are pushing him like David Archuletta.

It SUCKED.

Lol Robin...tell us how you really feel...:lmao:!! I have never disliked a TV personality as much as I do Kara. I just find her phony as heck and annoying. the sobbing??? PUH...LEEZE....gimme a break. And get off Simon's lap. Ughh

Now that being said, I have no idea who will be going home. I didn't find anyone horrible. Well, maybe poor Aaron.

....so, can't you picture him doing one of their songs??

No not really, but to each their own. I mean, I don't get the Adam Lambert attraction from a lot of people either, but whatever. Having said that, you never know, Lee could surprise me with that. I would be up for watching it to see what happens, know what I mean?

Maybe she's secretly pregnant and all hormonal?

I did really like Mike over all of them, so I voted tonight. Plus, he's a hometown boy. :thumbsup2

:lmao: That is exactly what I was thinking. That is the only reason I can think of for her to be acting like Paula. Unless of course there really is something other than water in those glasses.

So I have been reading our posts from this time last year (sadly true) trying to remember what our "caw caw" reference is ha ha ha...Anyway, it was Michael Jackson week...kinda sad.

Oh yea, and thanks a lot mandy200587 for telling me about the Skee Ball on IPOD Touch last year...My addiction is all your fault. :rotfl2:

yes, Caw caw was from when Megan Joy sang Rockin Robin. I forgot it was Michael Jackson week that was done.

Yes! It was driving me nuts...I just remembered us all posting "did she just caw" but that was all I could remember. :rotfl:

...she could always get a job on a Three's Company remake...

I thought Big Mike was alright but all that praise and crying turned me off a little. All the people they've been praising this past week are the ones I thought weren't that great.

I agree...what the heck was with Kara crying?! :confused3

My favorite this season is definitely Lee. :lovestruc I also liked his version of the song better than the original.

I would like to see Todrick and Tim going home this week....I also HATED Big Mikes song and singing....I wanted to cry like Cara but for a different reason-it was PAINFUL to listen to! Lee is just "ok" but don't see anything screaming "star" about any of them!

My two cents gang!

Lee Dewyze: "Fireflies"...DH summed it up when he came in the room and saw me hovering motionless over the tv with my mouth open, like I had just seen that video of wildebeasts mating on NatGeo again, and said "ruined your favorite song didn't he?"...YES. Yes he did.

Alex Lambert: "Trouble"...Man he sounds like Mraz. Not in a bad way. Just in a "I've heard this voice before" way. Not original, but good. I am sure he is safe.

Tim Urban: "Hallelujah"...He didn't butcher it. I didn't hate it. DAre I say, it was pretty good?? Of course, DH is running the carpet shampooer in the livingroom while the kid is singing. He might just make it through.

Andrew Garcia: "Genie In a Bottle"...Umm oooookay, but I DID love what he did with Straight UP, so maybe....The vocals aren't very strong. His guitar playing is better than his singing. He's got a Carlos Santana vibe.

Casey James: "You'll Think of Me"...For some reason he reminds me of a young Bob Seagr. I like. Not enough to actually vote for (or care about) him, you see. But he's a contender and certainly safe.

Aaron Kelly: "I'm Already There"...ZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz... Awoken only by a few horrid notes.

Todrick Hall: "Somebody To Love". Now I love's me this particular song. A thought it was odd for him to start with the falsetto and then start singing much lower. It's okay IMO. I think he should let that facial hair grow in. Otherwise he s too baby face. An okay rendition. Not special, but thankfully NOT weird.

Mike Lynch: "This Woman's Work"...I am unfamiliar with the song. At least he went from the falsetto into a higher voice. Well done. Boring song, but he sang the bejeezus out of it.

No idea who is going and who is staying. I don't care.

I think I am going to vote for the carpet shampooer.

Tim was awful, butchered the song.

Aaron wasn't good either.

Dug Casey doing that song.

Didn't like Andrew or Lee really.

Todrick he brought it tonight.

Big Mike not bad at all.

Alex wasn't bad but didn't remember him really.

The theme for the top 12 will be the Rolling Stones. Assuming the folks at EW are correct anyway.
